Wow, another year, time goes so fast these days. 2007 was a great year, and we had tons of fun. Here's a look back at some of the things that went on.
-Hudson got potty trained. It was super hard and probably one of the things I hate about motherhood. Messy, stinky, and you have to have tons and tons of patients. But he did it before he was three and I am super proud of him. To read about this click here
-I went through quite the ordeal with my heart. After I had Ruby I had some crazy heart problems. They turned to be nothing other than stress from having a baby. Also you have a lot of extra blood when you are pregnant and so that combined just gave me some problems. But they gave me a clean bill of health. To read more click here and here.
-I started this blog. And boy have I become addicted. I love it.
-Weber State B-ball took the championship in the Big Sky, we were at that game and boy let me tell you, awesome. I will always remember that game. And went on to the sweet sixteen. I Love me some March madness.
-We went to Park City with my family for Easter. Super fun. Click here
-Trent finally finished our log bed after 2 years. Click here and here.
-Trent graduated with his Masters in Business from the University of Phoenix. Go boy. It only took him a year and a half and he loved it. He tells me there are days he misses it. Is he kidding? click here.
-Our little boy turned 3 in June and started preschool in September. Here, here, and here.
-I turned 26 and Trenton turned 27.
-I watched a little boy Shea for a few months. He was a sweet heart and I loved the extra cash for things, but him and his mother moved to New York to start a better life. I miss that little stink, but I am glad to be with just my kids.
-We went to Bear Lake a few times. We also went with Trent's family to Jackson Hole. That was super fun, although camping with a baby is hard. But Ruby was a trooper. Click here, here, and here.
-Trent surprised me with a trip too Seattle for our 5 year Anniversary. It was super fun and nice to be alone. I had always wanted to go there and now I have. What a neat place. I think the next time we go we will go during a not so rainy season. Click here.
-My sister Samantha got married.
-Ruby got to model for a local dress store. She was such a trooper. I still haven't seen the pictures they've chosen of the store and adds. Click here.
-I took boot camp and got in shape and lost 10lbs. Now I need to get back into shape again. Why is it so hard to keep it up?
-Ruby Noel turned 1. I can't believe how fast her first year went. Now she is walking and talking like crazy. Here's some pics of her over the last year. Click here, here, here, and here.
This next year, Trent was rewarded a trip to Cancun at a five star resort for meeting his sales goals for the year. (He is self employed, but works with a company who help you set goals and when meet your goals for the year, you get a trip.) We are going at the end of April so both of us have a goal to lose some weight and get in shape in time. I better get going.
We would've chosen the trip in the fall, a 10 day cruise through Hawaii, I know all of you are thinking, why didn't you choose that, but there is a possibility I may be prego and 10 days to leave kids is too long. The other one was next spring and it was too Switzerland, I really, and I mean really wanted to do that, but same thing, I could be due with a baby or already have had a new baby, so it just wouldn't work out.
-Trent's business is starting web conferencing so that he can go nation wide and every company no matter where they are can take his Spanish and ESL classes. He's already starting and its just going to boom business even more. Go boy.
-Hudson will turn 4, wow, then he can start soccer. He is super excited.
-Ruby of course will continue to grow and learn. I'm sure she'll be like her bro and talk super early.
-I want to start a little at home business making a few of my baby items I make. So hopefully I will get it up and going in the next month or two.
-Trent's little bro, Clayton comes home in May from Brazil. I can't wait. I was hoping we could go down and get him, but probably not.
-We hope to take a family trip to Cali to Disney Land
-My sister Amy will be having her baby in July
-I hope to be prego some time by the end of the year, but we'll have to wait and see what happens. There are days I want to now and days when I say, in a few years.
