My baby boy is no longer a baby.
Griffin turned 2 on May 27. I know we all say it but those 2 years just flew by!!!
I love this little boy so much. He is so happy and so cute and just melts my heart.
I also love that he's a mama's boy.
He had been practicing how to show people he was two and finally got it down just in time.
You bet he got everything "Cars" for his birthday. He is obsessed. He loves Mcqueen and Finn the most, but will play with any of the other guys. He comes to me at all times of day and says, "queen?" "Finn?" if he can't find them. He has one or the other in his hand at all times.
He opened that book and read forever!
We got him a new bike because he would ride Ruby's and the pink just wasn't doing it so Trent picked out a Harley bike. Manly enough? He can't quite peddle but he loves to scoot all over the driveway.
Grammy made Finn a Mcqueen cake and he was in heaven. During the party he kept going over to the table and climbing up on the table just to look at it.
We debated on weather to make Finn or McQueen but I think he was thrilled with Queen.
We also got him his own little laptop, because he is always trying to play the real one.
At the end of the party we had to skype with his favorite cousin Violet and show her all his new Cars Cars.
This boy is the sweetest thing ever, although the hitting and pushing has begun. He loves to hug and kiss other little kids that are smaller than him but for some reason he also loves to push and hit. Little stinker! Must just be a 2 year old boy thing. I somewhat remember that happening with Hudson but Ruby didn't do that.
Griffin loves anything boy, dinosaurs, cars, trucks, animals, balls, etc. He does like to play with Ruby's little pet shops and lala loopsy's though too. (don't tell trent).
He growls and roars, really good and loves for you to play animals and cars with him.
He is becoming such a good talker. He puts sentences together and I can pretty much understand everything he says. He loves to tell me every morning, "Mom? I have milk?" Then he'll pull me into the kitchen to get his sippy cup of chocolate milk. I also love that every time I give him a snack or something to eat he'll ask, "For Ruby?" "For Huddy?" And hold out his other hand for me to give him one for them.
He loves to go bye bye. He asks at random times in the day if we can go bye bye.
Griffin loves to do anything and everything with Hudson and Ruby, so this summer has been fun taking him to Hudson's baseball games, swimming lessons, track, and the park. He gets so sad when they leave to go jump on their neighbor-kids trampoline because he can see them through fences and he'll ask, "jumping? Huddy, Ruby?" So sad.
I love this boy so much! He gets so spoiled as the baby and I do baby him a lot. But if he is my last baby I need and want too. And if he's not my last baby, oh well, he is for now.
(stats and 2 year old pictures to come.)
