Ruby has been taking dance for two years now and loves it.
She especially loves her teachers Miss Brynn.
Brynn is an amazing dancer and teaches in her parents basement and get this, its only $15 a month!
Can't beat that. I think its perfect for a little girl who is just starting out.
I love that they learn ballet, cheer, and jazz.
Brynn is graduating next year from OHS and will probably go onto some amazing dance company so we will have to find somewhere else to go, which I'm sure will be more experience. And we'll miss her. At least we get one more year with her.
We were a little concerned that Ruby wouldn't "perform" in the recital because whenever I would ask her to show me what she was learning she'd tell me, "I'm shy." "I'm scared." And that is what she was saying to me her mom. But she was so brave and got up there and danced and did a great job. She actually stayed on beat.
I asked Ruby to get in her favorite dance pose for a picture and this is what she got in, full on Chinese splits. I was laughing so hard! I have never in my life been able to do that, even when I did dance.
She was so excited to get a rose from Brynn and a little bouquet of flowers from her daddy. She was also excited because I let her put on a little bit of makeup.
Ruby loved taking dance with her little cousin Lily this year.
They both were so dang cute and getting so big.
