1st day of Preschool

Here's my cute Miss Ruby on her first day of preschool.

She was so ready and so excited! She had already worn her "twinkle toe shoes" and her grey dress once or twice for special occasions, so I was worried she wouldn't want to wear them for her first day of school outfit, but she did.  She knew exactly what to wear.  She had other new school clothes but was determined to wear this.  And she looked cute! Sometimes its a fight with this girl. One day she wants to wear a dress, the next day its comfy shorts and a tee shirt.  I guess its good to be versatile.

 She wanted a picture of her hello kitty book bag.  This year it finally fits a little better. She was a bit sad she had to use the same book bag this year, but last year it was huge on her and it is basically brand new condition so I told her when she went to kindergarten she could get a new one.

 I forgot to have her hold her "First day of Preschool" sign but I did remember her "Smarty" pants and "nerd" treats. 

Ruby got a new preschool teacher this year. We loved Miss Jenny from last year but sadly she retired.  So when my friend Joanna had an opening we jumped at the chance to go.  Ruby Loves Ms. Jo so much and when i dropped her off she just ran off ready to go. Ms. Jo had to tell her to go hug me and kiss me goodbye. 

It was a nice little break to just have Finn but it was short and I didn't get much done. A 2 hr window is gonna take some planning to get some errands run and Finns nap in but it will be nice to just have 1 kid at home even if it is for just 2 hours. Finn sure did miss her and so did I. But then i picked her up and realized how nice the break was from my little jabber jaws. She can surely talk your ear off.
