15 month mischief

I still can't believe this guy is 15 months!!!! He is still the sweetest baby ever! But, well, he is a boy, and he is 15 months so he is into everything!!!!

He loves to open cupboards, open doors, push buttons on the dvd player, cd player, go up and down the stairs, dump his toy buckets out, pull clothes out of drawers, color and draw on paper, and play in the garbage and toilet. So as you can imagine, the toilet seat always has to be down, drawers closed, all doors other than his bed room have to be closed, the gate at the top of the stairs closed, and so on. 

He is quite the talker. All my kids have been.  He doesn't know as many words as Ruby did at this point but he is still pretty vocal.  He is constantly talking to everyone and although we have no idea what he's saying he sure does.

He calls every animal a dog until you tell him what it is. Then he can say, Duck, Dino, cat, and bird.  He loves to say Hi to everyone and wave hi and bye while saying it.  He loves balls, dogs, books, cars, and dinosaurs!!! yup he's a boy!

Probably my most favorite thing he does, he will come up to you and pat you really hard 3 times then either hug you or lay down on you for a few seconds.  He is such a love! Definitely more snugly and lovey than any of my kids.  I love it!!!

I think he is almost done with 2 naps a day. He usually takes 2 naps about 3-4xs a week but lately I hear him talking and yelling still 30-45 min after I've put him to bed in the morning. I am not ready to give up the 2 naps yet so I think I'll try a bit longer since he is still taking them a few days week.

 We got out all of Hudson's dinosaurs for Finn and he seriously plays with them all day long! They walk, move, and growl and he loves them! He pushes the button and then looks up at you with his eyes wide open and says, "Ohhh!" and then growls really loud!

 He calls the dinosaurs "dogs" until you remind him.  I remember all of my kids calling all animals dog! Too funny!

I tried to get a picture of him growling and this is the best I could do.  

 That same day I found him on the stairs going up and down. He was so proud of himself.  We have a gate on the stairs and if I ever went down I took him so he didn't know how to go down or up.  Well, last month we showed him how and he wants to do it all the time. 

 He thinks its so funny!

 This is his new funny face. He laughs really hard, tips his head back and sticks his tongue out.  What a funny boy!

 Oh I love my boy! He was shirtless in all these pictures because he had just finished lunch and he can't wear clothes or at least shirts when he eats because he makes the biggest mess!!! He loves to eat with is fork and refuses to eat if I feed him so off with the shirt, less laundry for me.  Why doesn't he wear a bib you ask? Because he won't!

 And finally someone left their yogurt on the side table when they were done with their breakfast the other day (Trent!) and I found Finn in the corner eating it and saying, "MMMM".  He was so proud of himself!

 I love this boy! And I love this age. He is so curious, and getting so big, yet he's still a baby!

He is so dang funny and sweet and heavy!!! He refuses to walk! Its crazy! He can stand and has taken a few steps but he just refuses.  You put him on the ground and he bends his knees.  stubborn kid! So not sure when he's gonna walk. I'm not worried and I know its nice when they don't but he's a fast crawler so I don't know how much more he can get into when he's walking. Another reason I want him to walk, he weighs 25 lbs(he hasn't gained any for awhile which is what we figured, that when he got moving he wouldn't gain but he's still growing, he is so tall!!!) So hopefully in the next few weeks he'll start walking.

 (oh and if your wondering, yes my wall in my fireplace room is still primer, hence the ugly background, I still can't decide what to do! I better decide fast or its gonna be primer forever!)
