Funny Finney

Finn has reached the lovely busy age of 13 months. He is into everything and I know its only going to get worse.

Why I wanted Finn to move so badly I don't know.  He was slow to roll and crawl but now is everywhere. I go down the hall to get something and I turn around and he's there. He keeps me on my toes but I love my little shadow.

The other day I was trying to make dinner and Finn kept opening the cupboards and in our small kitchen it makes it really difficult to cook when he's in there. He loves to bang the pots and pans.

(oh funny side note, see that foot stool by him that says, "kelsey" well I got that pottery barn stool at downeast homes 5 years ago for $5 and that's how lazy I am, I have never taken the name off or painted it. I am going to, its just one of those things, if i don't do it when I get it, I probably won't ever do it)

 So I asked Hudson to turn on Baby Einstein and play with him while I made dinner.

 It was awfully quite, so I went in to check on them and saw this...

These two love each other so much!  I knew Hudson would love Finn because he became so attached to Harry in just the hour or so he got to hold him and it broke his heart that Harry couldn't come home with us. So when Finn was born Hudson didn't want to leave the hospital and leave Finn and I there. He cried and cried, I think he had a lot of anxiety and wasn't really sure he would come home or not, even though we told him Finn was alive and healthy and coming home. He had a hard time for over a month leaving Finn at all, in fact he didn't even want to go on the Father Sons campout last year because he didn't want to leave Finn. Hudson is my little sensitive sweet heart and I love that he finally gets his little brother and boy does his love him and Finn loves him!

 Finn is quite the little "apple nerd" already. He loves the ipad (not that he has any clue what he's doing). He just pushes the screen and something moves or makes noise and he loves it!

 And Finn finally meet another girlfriend. Trent's best friend Bob (ok his name isn't really Bob, but actually Trent. So since Trent and Trent are best friends, years ago they both got nick names, my Trent is Don, and his friend is Bob funny huh?) anyway they had their first baby just 2 weeks after we had Finn, but unfortunately they live in Austin, TX so we had not had the chance to meet her until last night. They came up for a short trip and Finn and Mya got to play for a bit.  They kept fighting over the piano but I think it was just a little flirting?

Also, Mya is such a little walker! She would take her mama or daddy's finger and walk all over the house, she didn't want to sit down, just explore. She also loved pushing Ruby's grocery cart. And then it hit me, I had never given Finn anything to push while standing and was curious if he'd walk and he did! He was a bit wobbly at first but he walked while pushing the cart! My baby is getting too big, I bet he'll be walking within the next month or two! oh man he's gonna be even busier!

I'm surprised this kid isn't walking yet, only because he wants to be "big" so bad! Lately he has been a little stinker when it comes to eating. He is not picky at all when it comes to food its just getting him to eat.  Lately he will only eat if you give him a bite with a normal spoon or fork. If you use a baby one, I guess he thinks he's being offered baby food and will not take it.  So this morning I would give him the fork after I stabbed the food because he wanted to feed himself.  And feed himself he did. He ate a whole egg with cheese and almost a whole banana.
