A few Weekend Getaways!

Summer took a long time coming this year but its finally here! Sun, heat, and family vacations! We've already been a couple of fun weekend getaways. Here are two of them. I of course forgot my camera at both trips so thanks to my sister are a few pictures.

 A few weeks ago we took a little weekend trip over Memorial day to Bear Lake to my brother in law's condo. It was cold that weekend and we woke up to snow but by noon it was gone and we got to play outside! Amy and Brody brough their bikes and bike trailor and Finn and Violet loved riding together!

We were such dorks and did a lot of "planking" in Bear Lake. There is a website out there where people take pictures planking all kinds of things so we thought we'd try it out, it was pretty dang funny. I tried the park bench and it was hard I could not stay on top of it.

 And my sisters Sammy planked the monkey bars! It made for some fun times!

 Here is my cute Finn with his bday present from Aunt sammy, she made it! Isn't it the cutest thing ever? she Made the dino so you can take it off and play with it or pull it!

 Then just last weekend we went with my parents and my sister Sammy and her family to her husbands family land up Monte Cristo! The weather was perfect! We brought up the Rhino and had a blast!

 Hudson and Ruby LOVE riding the Rhino! I think they loved it even more this time because they were the only kids besides Violet and Finn so they got the back all to themselves.

 Erik is the "Outdoors King" he loves to hunt, pan for gold, hike, and he pretty much owns anything and everything that has to do with the "outdoors" gotta love it! So he brought his guns and every took turns practicing. Trent was being such a dork and forgot to take his helmet off after riding the rhino. We were laughing so hard!

 Finn and Violet were the perfect little campers. Except neither baby slept well that night. We all slept in the trailer so no one slept great but we had a great time anyway.

Finney really enjoyed the Graham part of the smore's. Poor little guy spiked a fever that night and didn't feel well. Hopefully we'll have a few more weekend getaways and enjoy some quality family time.
