2 months

Griffin turned 2 months on Tuesday.As sad as it makes me that he's out of the "newborn" stage, I am loving that he's getting so big and alert.

If you look back at the post I did on 2 weeks and one month you'll see the difference of him on the changing pad, dang this boy is healthy!

Its hard to believe that my little babe or should I say big babe is 2 months old. Griffin started out the smallest of my babies weighing 6lbs 10oz and 19.5 inches long at only 5 days early and now he's easily my biggest at 2 months. He goes for his WCC next week so I'm not exactly sure his stats but lets just say when I step on the scale with him it says 14lbs!!!!! So we'll see if its acurate or not. We call him bubba and well, it fits.  

He wore newborn clothes that were actually big on him for over a month.  Then it came time to switch him to 0-3 month clothes, well lets just say that didn't last long because at 2 months most of those are too small. What a chunk!

He is seriously the sweetest, happiest baby ever.  Really all my babies have been. I was so nervous to add another one because I have always been spoiled by my babies. Sleeping through the night early, never crying, and happy as can be. Well, I guess it runs in the family because Finn has followed right along. He was sleeping from 9:30-6:30 for about 2 weeks and then all of a sudden he started waking up at 3:30 to eat, silly baby.  It only lasted about a week but man was I tired. He is now back to sleeping from 9-7 so we'll see if this lasts.  He's a pretty good napper. He tricks me sometimes when I put him down thinking he's asleep he'll wake right up.

He is so smiley and happy. I love that he's "talking" now. He laughs and coos so much. And squeals in delight. He will even be alone in a room and squeal. It seriously melts my heart.  I am in LOVE!

I shot a video on my camera on his 2 month mark but for some reason it won't load. I wanted to tape it for my brother Jeff whose on a mission so he could see Finn talking and smiling. He is so sad he won't get to see Finn till he's 1 1/2 he LOVES babies and he would love Finn because he's following in his footsteps. My brother was the biggest baby I know. He was 30lbs and 31 inches at a year! Ruby is 3 1/2 and only weighs 34 so what does that tell you? But good thing, Jeff wasn't a fat kid  he just ended up being tall.  So we'll see if Finn follows his footsteps. I hope not because he's already hurting my shoulder.
