My wonderful pediatrician Dr. Clawson is the best! She was my neighbor growing up, I babysat her kids, and she was my pediatrician (in my pre-teen/teen years). She says that we may have a Jeff(my little bro who in my last post I wrote was over 30lbs at one year) on our hands. I was so curious to see what Jeff weighed at 2 months my mom checked and it was average at 12 something lbs. WHAT??? My baby who was 6 10 at birth out weighs Jeff at 2 months? OH my gosh I am in trouble! Dr Clawson just laughed, she wasn't worried that he had gained so much so fast, just proof that my probably placenta wasn't working at the end. He had to play catch up. She thinks in the next month or two he'll probably start to slow down. I sure hope so because my baby is already not a tiny baby anymore. She said he looks great other than he's really tall she said. He does drink 4-6oz which is normal she said, but because he sleeps most nights from 9-7 he has to eat a lot during the day. He is cooing, laughing, squealing, and reaching for things. He turns to look at whose talking and for sure knows who his mommy is. So he is doing great! He was so happy for her and showed her his cute personality. But then time for shots, he wasn't happy at all, which was awful for me because he never cries so it was hard to hear him so sad. But as soon as I picked him up he stopped crying and started talking to me as if to say, "Mom, that hurt." Oh I love him!!!
After his Dr appt I basically held him all day. He was so sore and in pain. After he woke up and the medicine had kicked there was a few minutes of my happy baby. I took these pictures of him smiling and cooing at me.
I can't believe he used to fit on this bath foam and now he hangs right off.

We go to Dr Clawson too!! LOVE HER!! My baby is 4 months and has the same stats as your baby!! LOL.. at least he is healthy!! HE is so CUTE!!
April, your little Finn is so cute! It makes me anxious for when it is my turn again for a happy chubby little baby (my Carter weighed 8lb 13oz when he was born so I know all about big babies). :) I'm glad you guys are doing well.

Oh MY gosh - what a big boy! Madelyn has more than doubled her birth weight and I love it!!
I also go to Dr. Clawson! I have been seeing her for 10 years now and absolutely LOVE her!!! She is just awesome with my children!
Fat!!! I want my next baby to be that fat! I have always had huge babies but they werent' that big at 2mo so I guess I need to just share his chub with you! I lvoe his pics BTW!!!
oh my goodness he's such a sweet cute boy! oh i love him, can't wait to squish him tonight. we'll have to switch babies for the night! oh so darling what a chub.
Parker was my chubby baby. He weighed 15 lbs at 2 months! But he was 9 pounds at birth, so his weight gain wasn't quite as dramatic as Finn's. The funny thing is that he was such a big baby, but now he is in the 25th percentile. His growth slowed down a lot after about 6 months. So you never really know I guess. :)
Finn is super adorable. I love all the little smiles, they are so sweet!!
He is so cute April! I love babies with a little pudge. He looks more like a four month old, he is so expressive. Can't wait to see him in real life!

Forde was 6 pounds 10 ounces at birth as well and he was 31 pounds at 1 and 14.5 at 2 months he has thinned out a lot but until he was about 18 months old he just had roll after roll after roll..... Hahaha he was super cute and squishy plus my arms got really toned carrying him around!
He is now 2 1/2 almost and he is 38 pounds still big boy but has evened out! I absolutely love it~ we need to get together soon I want to see Finn!
April-this is so cute! Finn is darling just like the rest of your cute kids! He is so big tho! I bet you love it! Sawyer was 9'15 when he was born, so when I saw this post of yours, I thought I would look up his stats at 2 months & he was 16'11 at 2 months! Which was huge to me & he just keeps getting bigger. So, Finn is doing awesome for his birth weight! So wonderful! I love these big babies! Enjoy!
