The week before Christmas is crazy for us because not only are we doing last minute shopping, wrapping, and parties, but its our Anniversary and then Ruby's birthday. Trent and I celebrated 7 years last week and no itch here. We went to dinner and a movie. We figured since we got an amazing trip about 2 months ago to Hawaii we didn't need to go all out this year. I did however get Trent a new wedding ring, he hasn't had one since it got stolen on our trip to Mexico 1 1/2 years ago. Its been bugging him really badly because a lady in our ward the other day said to me, "Oh your so brave." (I thought she meant getting pregnant again after what happened with Harry.) But then she went on to say, "I see you on Sundays with your boyfriend in church and think how does she do it?" What? Seriously? I thought maybe for a second she was mistaking me for someone else, so I said, "I sit by my husband and two kids every week." She said, "Yeah your cute little dark haired girl and cute Blondie boy. I thought that was your boyfriend, though." What? Seriously? The girls around me just laughed. I guess she thought he was my boyfriend because he didn't have a ring? I don't know, but come on, how many guys don't wear their wedding ring. So I found a great deal on a ring and he loves it. So now no more mistaking him for my boyfriend.

OK now on to the Princess. Whenever anyone asked Ruby what she wanted for her birthday she would say, "A Princess tea party with my girls." Too cute huh. She talked about it almost daily how she was having a "tea party with her girls." I loved how she said it.
While I was setting up for the party Ruby was having freaking out. She was sooo excited, she kept saying, "I can't believe my girls are coming for the tea party. Oh my goodness." She said it over and over in the most excited, cute voice. She was seriously in heaven and so was I.
We invited over 2 of her girl friends and told them to dress up in their Princess outfits and they had a blast. They poured "tea"(water) and then had cake and ice cream and played Princess's. It was just what she wanted.
The day before her Birthday we had a little party at my parents house. She got to open all her presents from them. My sisters, mom, grandma, and I decided to get her the case of all the Disney Princess Barbies and we split them all. Every time she opened another present there was another Princess. She just hugged them and said, "My Princess's." Oh my what did we start.
Here she is snuggling with her humongous Princess Blanket from Grammy. We thought it was just a throw but no, its a twin size. She LOVES it.
What goofy kids I have. I swear its soo hard to get a good picture with them.
She was so excited to see her cake because she loves the Little Mermaid. So my mom made her famous, "Holli" cake that looked like Ariel. She loved it.
I love this little girl. She really is our little Princess and well, with another brother coming along, probably will be our only one. She is such a sweet heart. She is so content to play with herself and her dolls or kitchen. She loves to sing and dance in front of the mirror. She is also such a big help and loves to give hugs and kisses.I always wondered with having an older brother if she wouldn't be so girly, but well, she is totally a girl. Loves all things pink, princesses, and dressing up. We love our Ruby girl.
