Viva La Mexico

Trent and I had an amazing time in Mexico. The weather was perfect, the food was excellent, and the resort amazing.

Beware, I posted a lot mostly for me as a way to document about the trip.

Here is an amazing view of one of the pools and the amazing Spa, its the globe looking building in the background. I went to book a pedicure while Trent went Scuba Diving but they were all booked, they had a few weddings. He promised me one when we got home, plus it will be $30 cheaper here.

This picture does not give this crowd justice. Supposedly flying into Cancun on a Sunday is a bad idea. We waited in line for over 2 hours to get through customs. NO air conditioning, thousands of people, standing room only, and we were all tired, hungry, and hot. Boy were we glad to get out.

One of the many pools at our resort. It was amazing. So beautiful, I would go back in a heart beat. Supposedly its in the top 5 all inclusive resorts in the world. It was amazing.

The pools were so cool. They these beds by the pools that we would just layout on. They were so comfy, we usually ended up falling asleep on them. The lazy river was our favorite, we would just lay on the rafts and go around and around.

Our bedroom, we got two queen beds, I guess just in case if we fought one night. He He.
The jetted tub in the room was my favorite. I am definitely putting one in my next house.

Sad story...Every room had security lock boxes and we used it daily. We always put our cash, and jewelry, basically anything we didn't want stolen. Well one night Trent didn't put his watch and wedding ring in it and just placed it on the bar. He woke up the next morning to find them gone. We both new he put it there because he got out of bed to do so because he forgot. Security came right away and searched our whole room. They found nothing. They had a way to found out who had used our door because they have computers in them. So they looked and it said our door was open from 11-4 am. crazy huh. Someone had come in our room while we were sleeping and taken his wedding ring and brand new $100 watch. We were mad and scared all at the same time. A worker said they noticed our door at 4am and shut it. I have a hard time trying to believe that our door was open, but whatever. So basically it was our fault so there was nothing they could do.

Even though this incident happened, I would still go again and we still had a great time. They said they have never had anything like that happen in the night.
