I just want to thank you guys for all your comments, prayers, and advise and willingness to help. I really appreciate it. Its been a long 5 days in bed. Just to update you, which is more for me and my journaling, I went to the Dr today. He wanted to do a full blood panel to check my blood this time. My blood count is still a bit low from all the blood loss so he has put me on iron. I think it will help me to feel better, I hope.
I have had so much help its just been incredible. My ward, which I am new to, has just kicked in. They are bringing meals, offering to watch the kids and just come and talk to me. Its been great. Also between my family and Trent's we've been able to have someone help me everyday. Thanks so much to all of them. And well, I also have to thank my wonderful hubby. He's just been wonderful helping me with every beck and call.
Anyways, my Dr. did an US today and the baby is still doing well. Strong heartbeat and just kickin' like crazy. He is a bit concerned about the blood as always, it seems to not be going away and I still have quite a large amount of clotting and blood by the placenta. He is also not sure if I have placenta previa. At this point he is thinking I might but he couldn't tell where the placenta stopped and where the blood pools started. And we also talked a lot about pre-term birth. That there is a high probability that this little guy will have to come early. He said sometimes its better for the mom and baby for the baby to be out and grow outside. I just really want to make it to January at least. So we'll just take it one week at a time as always. I am going to the perinatologist next week and there we can determine exactly what is going on and how me and the baby are doing.
So for now, still bed rest, its just not as strict, I can get up as needed because for now I have stopped bleeding. But we have to take precautions so that it doesn't start up again. The kids seems to be adjusting to the changes. They are doing well and behaving. I'm sure wondering why mom is being lazy but I just told them the Dr needs me to stay in bed to help the baby and mommy get better.
Anyways, just an update, thanks again for all your concerns.

Im glad things are going ok. I have been so worried about you.
I don't know if y'all have aflac or not, but i TOTALLY recommend it. It's to late to be covered for the delivery since you are already preg but they have a fabulous plan for NICU. Nate and Lori had that plan and it saved them when the girls were born. They have HUGE medical bills, but the aflac paid for so much.
you should talk to Lori about it. They just pay you cash. no questions asked. So if the baby went to NICU they would just send you a check for $10,000 or what ever it is.
We love aflac!, we used them for both babies and got paid $4000 each time, just for having a baby. That covered all of our out of pocket cost and we still had some left over to spend how we wished.
It was fun to see you! I can't believe how good you look you are finally getting a little belly! I hope you can lay around still, I am not convinced you should be out of bed at all, but if you take it easy and I mean no picking up Ruby, and no working around the house you will be okay. I really hope you can make it to January also. But as you said one week at a time! We are excited to see him, but we don't want to see him too early!!!
We love you! hang in there, you can make it to at least january for sure, hang in there baby boy!
we love you, April! Glad things aren't quite as bad (for the moment). I am serious about helping with the kids-- just call me anytime. I am always home. Hang in there!
I'm glad that everything is ok w/ the baby! That would be so scary w/ all the bleeding. And I'm glad you are both doing well (except for the bed rest :) ). That's good that the kids are adjusting. Thanks for updating us! I've been thinking about you!
I'm doing this book exchange with some friends. you send out 1 new book to a child on the list and send 6 letters to friends and you should get a bunch of books back for your kids. I'm excited to do it, so if you want to participate will you email me your address. If it will just be a hassle, don't worry about it.
thanks, skyerik@hotmail.com
April, I so glad to hear that things are getting a little better! I can't believe how scary it must of all been! Did you have any problems like this with your first two? It sounds like you have a ton of support around..that's so wonderful! Hey, I'm doing a shoot next next week up over trapper's loop..is there still a lot of color? My clients want a nice fall scene but I'm not sure what it's looking like right now. Let me know.
Family pictures--I usually try and stay away from them because of how busy I've am with weddings. I had to narrow down what I do because I was spending more time away from my little family that I wanted to. I do actually want to do a business blog with all of my current work. The website gets outdated so quickly. I think, for now, I'll just have a link from my blog to my business website...davidandpattifilms.com
Stay down and watch Pride and Prejudice!
I'm glad to hear that things are going ok for now! I've been wondering how things were. Our kids were delivered at 32 weeks, so they could "grow" in the NICU. It's scary to have them come early, but it's amazing all they can do too. I hope everything continues to go well for you and your baby, we'll keep you in our prayers.
Hi April, glad to hear things are going better. I've been thinking about you, I just haven't been on the computer in a while. Oh and I will e-mail you pictures of the wood blocks, they turned out cute! Take care. -Lauren
Hey. I've been thinking about you a lot and keep asking Jared for the updates. Bedrest is the pits. I've never met anyone who loved it, that's for sure. We would love to come up and bring you guys dinner and keep you company for an evening if you're feeling up to it! Just let us know if you're up to visitors. Until then, know that you've been in our prayers!
Oh April, that's no fun. But I'm so happy your baby is doing well. Keep your chin up!!!
