Three?!?!?

(be prepared for lots of detail, although those of you who read my blog know that I only blog with detail.)

What do you get when you don't take your birth control for two weeks?

A BABY!!!!

Yup we are having a baby, crazy huh. Not planned, total surprise. But we are excited now.

Back in June I went to see my OB/GYN for my yearly. He gave me my Rx but I never filled it because it is $70. I always get samples but I forgot to ask, and well, forgot to get some for two weeks. Then a few weeks later my boobs hurt really really bad. I would take my bra off at night and want to cry. I kept telling Trent that is was too weird. Then I started getting up in the middle of the night to pee, OK, really weird. I never do that. So a few nights later, i told Trent, OK, tonight don't let me drink anything after dinner. So I didn't, and low and behold I had to go at 2:00 am, and then still when I woke up. I kept wondering, could I be pregnant? Maybe?

Well, then Amy had her baby and everyone kept asking me when I was going to have another one. I kept saying, I'm probably right now, really only joking. I told them, oh not for another year or two, we just moved and are just not ready. Then I started to get really really tired. I was literally exhausted and had indigestion. So I decided it was time to take a test. Trent woke me up early the next morning because he was dying to know. I went to take it and immediately, positive. I started to cry, I am not ready, I can barely take care of two, now we'll be out numbered, we just moved, we need to finish the basement, I just lost all this weight, I have no patience, the list went on and on. I got my composure and walked out to tell Trent. I said, "do you want the good news or the bad news", he immediately new. He said, is that the good news or the bad news. I started to cry and said, "I don't know." He was amazing though, he just hugged me and said, that we'd be fine. He was actually excited, a little overwhelmed but excited. He is always so good about things, and mead me feel better. We figured I was about 8 weeks already.

Well, then Saturday I just didn't feel good. Kind of crampy and just not right. I seriously laid around all day. Then all of a sudden, a gush. (sorry for the detail) I went to the bathroom to find tons of blood. I panicked. I didn't know what to do. So we called the on-call Dr and he said to just rest for the weekend and call the Dr on Monday or to go to the ER if the bleeding and pain got worse. Well stopped, so I hoped I was ok. My Dr. isn't in on Mondays, so they got me in first thing this morning, and well, there's a 9 week 2 day old baby in there, healthy and enjoying the womb. He said the reason for the blood is because I have big pool of blood above the placenta. If you look at the picture you can see what looks like almost to be another placenta, that's the blood. He said I should be ok as long as I continue to pass it, but there is a higher risk of miscarriage or premature labor, so hopefully I pass it all. But he said not to worry, things should be just fine, the baby has a great heart beat. I have to see him in two weeks to see if the size of the blood has gone down.

We are happy and excited. The kids are so excited. Ruby points to my belly and kisses it everyday, all day and says, baby in there. And Hudson tells everyone its a boy. So we'll see. So another Maw baby is coming March 15, perfect time of year, not a Christmas baby.
