October Fun

Life has been crazy busy lately, and well just plan crazy.
Trent is home most days working from home on his business, grading papers, and job hunting. I guess you could say its been a blessing because I've been so sick with this pregnancy, the headaches are so bad some days I have to stay in bed. So even though he is underemployed I guess you could say, he's home to help with Finn and when Ruby gets home from morning kindergarten. But the one thing I hate is that he teaches one class a night Monday-Thursday at WSU, so he leaves at dinner time and doesn't' get home till about 8:30/9 and then has bishopric on Tuesday nights till late.
Nights are the craziest time as a mom don't you think? Dinner time, running kids to soccer practice, dance, piano, scouts, you name it there is something every night and sometimes more than one activity per night.

But we've survived and soccer is over this week, yay! Finn has loved going to soccer practice with the kids because that means playing at the park to him.  In this picture he was "flying!" such a cutie!

A week or so ago, Ruby waited all day for it to start raining. She kept looking out the window asking when it was going to rain because she wanted to play in it.  I said I don't know, the weather man just said sometime today.  It finally started to rain, she got on her rain boots, coat and umbrella and went out to play. She was in heaven!
And I guess Finn liked Ruby's rain boots because I found him in the living room with only those on. Silly boy!

I love my Hudson. He is the funniest kid ever! One day he said he didn't eat a very good lunch at school and wanted to eat something. I said ok, your old enough to go make you a sandwich or something. I went into the kitchen a few minutes later I could see him outside riding his bike.  So I figured he had gotten something to eat.  Then I walked into the kitchen to find the note above from him, I guess he didn't dare ask me again to make him something. So he wrote this note, if you can't read it, it says,
"Call me when the ramen is done!"
And then he drew and arrow pointing to the ramen and wrote his name on it.  I was laughing so hard!
