Every year in August we head up to Bear Lake with Trents family and camp.
Trents parents and his sister both have really nice trailers but we just camp in a tent.
Luckily we stay at a nice campground with toilets and showers, otherwise the whole sand,swimming thing wouldn't be so fun with a tent.
Hudson and Ruby watched movies and took turns playing her leapster on the way up. And Finn slept most of the way.
The kids loved sleeping in the tent, Finn especially.
There are so many cousins for my kids they love it! Finn has his cousin Dax who if you can believe is a couple months older that him, but then again, finn is just really big. They have a love hate relationship with one another. They love each other but boy do they like to fight!
And the only picture I took on the beach was of Finn playing in the sand. I am always so bad at taking pictures at Bear Lake. But it was perfect weather this year and everyone had a good time.
Of course I always say our little family can never leave Bear Lake with the Maws without having something go wrong. The first year Trent and I were married trent cracked my shin bone by crashing our jet skii, one year Hudson threw up and got strep, Ruby threw up one year, the year I was pregnant with Harry I had one of my bad bleeds while up there, we had a bad rain/wind storm one year and almost lost our tent and froze our butts off, and this year I had the worst flu/food poisoning you can ever imagine. I will spare you the details but running back and forth from the tent to the bathrooms all night was no fun that I finally just slept on the shower dressing room floor. Here's hoping next year is our good year!
