11 months old

less than one month till this baby is a year old!

CRAZY!!!

It seems like it took forever for him to get here and now that he's here time is going way too fast. I seriously am in love with this boy! Finn is the sweetest thing in the world. He loves to give kisses, wave bye bye and he'll even say, bye too. He can sign "more", although he does it by putting his two pointer fingers together, its sooo cute and he can sign thank you. He has 3-8oz bottles a day and will be easy to take them away soon.

 He loves table food and won't eat much baby food anymore.

He has 3 top teeth, with one on the way, and 4 bottom teeth. He has the cutest "Speechly Space" between his top two teeth so if the skin doesn't break on its own ( most babies will fall and it will break on its own) then in a few years he will have to have it snipped.  

I know its naughty but he loves when Mickey Mouse Club House, Baby Einstein, and Super Why come on. Of course he doesn't sit through a whole episode but when the theme songs come on he is one happy baby, dancing, smiling, and wide eyed and will sit and watch for a few minutes.

I get so many comments on his gorgeous hair. It is just like his brothers, the most beautiful color. Not quite sure if its blonde with brown or blonde with red, we call it Carmel. And its so thick! Trent wants to cut it all the time, "just a trim" he'll say, but I am putting my foot down. I have always wanted my boys to have long hair but its hard because Hudson's hair is so thick and straight. so I want to see what Finn's is going to do, but I think its the same way. We'll see if Finn stays with this Carmel hair color like Hudson or go dark like Ruby. Trent had this hair color till about age 4 and then within one year it went dark.I wouldn't mind because I always wanted a dark haired boy.

 The other day I heard him whining but didn't know where he was, I found him stuck under the dinning room chair.

Finn is all over the place now and he gets there by rolling or scooting. Its crazy because Ruby was walking a little before 11 months and had been crawling, standing, and pulling herself up for awhile before that, just like her mama. Finn does not show any sign of walking anytime soon, which is fine by me, although my shoulder would love him to walk. He does love to stand holding onto furniture but can't get up on his own.

His vocabulary consists of : mama, dada, papa, Be (ruby and Huddy, usually says it when I'm saying one of their names, he'll say, BE, BE), me me (for his blanket or if he wants you to hold him), Doo (for no), bye, baba, and lots of gibberish. He is very loud and vocal.

Nicknames: Finn, Finney, Finnegan, Finneus, Bubs, chunk, and baby. He is rarely called Griffin (sometimes I wonder why we didn't just name him Finn). Oh well, Griffin is a good "man" name.

Favorite Foods: Avocados, apples, eggs, cheese melted, spaghetti or any pasta dish, any soups we have, yogurt, oatmeal, string cheese, beans, rice, graham crackers, Ritz, and cereal. He really loves anything we eat. He also loves his sippy cup and LOVES water.

Wearing "bob the builder" glasses. He is such a happy boy. Laughs and smiling all the time. I think he's gonna be our little "ham".

He has now become a crazy sleeper. I never know what I'm gonna find when I go check on him.

We finally moved his crib down a level because every time I'd go to get him out of his crib he was sitting pulling himself up and out. So we dropped it a level.

 I LOVE this boy!!! And I am loving this age!
