Well, the Maws pretty much did NOTHING for Spring Break. A few months ago we decided we wanted to go to Moab for SB but it didn't work out. So we stayed home and did nothing! Usually its Easter and we have lots of egg hunts, dying eggs, and parties, so it was weird having nothing to do. We had already taken the kids to see Hop so really, nothing to do.
This was the view outside my deck one morning, remember its April!! It snowed like this all day, everyday for over 3 days, it didn't do that this winter. Mother Nature if definitely confused!
We decided we had to do something fun, so one night we had a picnic in the living room. Trent and I got take-out and good ol' McD's for the kids. We laid a blanket out on the floor and watched the new Karate Kid while we ate. It was something different and fun. The only bad thing about the movie was that now my kids want to play "Karate Kid". Ruby and Hudson had "sleepovers" every night. They both have trundle beds and LOVE to have sleepovers in each others rooms. Watched lots of tv, played lots of computer games, wii, and board games. We colored a lot, the kids fought a lot (cabin fever for sure!), stayed in jammies all day, went to target and cafe rio one night and well, thats about it!

Thats exactly what my kids did after we watched Karate Kid. That is there favorite thing to do, "Lets play Karate Kid." Followed by a bunch of kicking a crying!
how fun! Doesn't it suck? This weather is so depressing, i hate being alone up here! I need to come down, we'll be down this weekend for the big bday! See you sat, possibly friday!
Sounds like the perfect spring break to me !!!
I am gald that Ruby and Addiosn got to have a play date...It was fun we will have to do it again.
