Halloween Post 1

We had a great Halloween this year. Ever since Harry was born, I haven't looked forward to Halloween. The days and memories surrounding Halloween are not good ones. As it approaches I'm usually procrastinating decorating and getting costumes. But this year seemed different. I was ready and excited.

I had been meaning to post this picture at the beginning of October, but never got around to it. I wanted to show off the cute "trick or treat" banner I made. It was so fun and easy. I can't wait to make a thanksgiving one. Not sure what it should say though, any thoughts? 

Also I stuck in the picture of Hudson and Ruby's Ghost feet so you could see how cute they were. I had Finn's but I think it feel down.

We visited Harry for his birthday and because he's our Halloween baby we took him some pumpkins. We love visiting his grave. I am more composed now when we visit and I love being able to have somewhere to visit him.

 The kids love visiting Harry and we were on our way to a Halloween party so the kids were all dressed up. They looked so cute. We sang Happy Birthday to him, signed up Pumpkin, and released some balloons into heaven. The kids love visiting Harry, even if its just a drive by.

 Finney was sitting for awhile and then all of a sudden fell back. He was smiling and kicking in the leaves, he was so happy and cute!

Last year for Halloween Ruby wanted to be Snow White, so I ordered the cutest Snow White costume and well, it didn't come till after Halloween. I told her she could wear it this year. Well, when it came time to figure out her costume for this year she fought me over and over about not wanting to be Snow White but Jesse from Toy Story. So my mom went all out and made her a Jesse costume. She had worn it to a few Halloween parties and when it came time to dress up for her preschool party she wanted to be Snow White. I tried to change her mind but I didn't' want to fight her too long on it because her ride was coming at 8:45am so I let her be Snow White for Preschool and well, she did make the prettiest, most perfect snow white ever! I am laughing so hard at this picture because she's holding her hand that way to show the camera her tattoo. She is a character. She was Jesse for everything else though.

 We hardly ever get together with Trents family, so I suggested we have a big party for Halloween. Trent was excited because he wanted dress up like his dad. I love his dad, he is the sweetest, nicest man ever! He is so funny though, because he always wears his "Case" hat, (he owns a Case tractor dealership), levis, boots, and suspenders.  Its so funny because with Trent dressed this way he really did look like his dad, just a few years younger.

 Here are Maw family members who dressed up. Grandpa Maw dressed as some scary Monk. He really scared the kids, Charlotte Trents sister had to hold Lily in the picture because she wouldn't sit by Grandpa.

 We decided to play a few games and the donut eating contest was the hit of the night. Here I am with Trents two sisters, Charlotte and Natalie. It was so hard and messy but fun.

 Here's my cute nephew Dax, he was born just 6 weeks before Finn. They are going to be best buddies.

 We had the three little girls do the donut contest. Ruby is almost 4, Lily in the middle is almost 3, and then Elaina is 3. It was so funny watching them try to eat it without their hands. They got frustrated after awhile and just grabbed the donuts.

 Here is Hudson with Weston and Rachel. They were so cute! It took them forever to get just one bit.

 I love this picture because Kevin and Trent are both in the same position and poor Makenzie is still struggling to get it. I think the boys hogged all the floor space.
