Fall Hike

 On Sunday we decided to go on a little Fall Hike. The kids love hiking and we hadn't been for awhile so what better time than to go see all the Fall leaves and enjoy the cooler air. Plus it was probably going to be our last hike of the season since Utah weather changes so fast. So we drove up Ogden Canyon and went off on one of the trails, we went a bit too far and had to turn around and walk fast because it was getting dark, fast!

 Hudson and Ruby are so stinkin' cute! They love to be together (most of the time). We always laugh that they are always posing as a "couple" in all their pictures. I just say to them, get closer together and they usually end up hugging or something, its so cute!

 Finn loves being outside and he loved the hike. Every time Trent walked under the tree's that were over head he would look up in ah at the leaves. He was so curious and happy! I think that was our last hike with him in the baby bjorn, he is way over the weight limit so next year we need to invest in a hiking carrier for him.

They climbed up some rocks to see what was in a little "cave" they found, luckily nothing came out.

 I gave the kids each a bag and had them gather different colors of leaves and flowers so we can make them into a fall collage. I thought since Ruby is our "hoarder" that she would have a huge bag full, but Hudson ended up with the fuller bag. He took handfuls of each leaf he found, he said it was too hard to choose just one.

I love this time of year and its been perfect weather here in Utah, 60-70 degree's for a few weeks. We've been able to enjoy it and get a lot done outside. Too bad the cold and snow are just around the corner. The kids keep asking when we can go on our next hike, too bad its going to be next year.
