Hudson lost his firsth tooth!
He was so excited to finally be apart of the "lost tooth" club. Some of his friends have lost more than one and he kept asking when he'd lose one. I was surprised it took so long because his teeth came in super early as a baby. So everyday he'd wiggle his teeth to see if any were loose, but nothing. I told him it takes time or a hard hit to the face (jokingly).
Well, then he hit his face on a table when we were in Bear Lake and his top front tooth was so loose I was sure he'd loose it any day. But for some reason it tighten up again and his bottom tooth was the first to go. It was hanging by a thread and Trent asked if he could see and then, walla, yanked it out. Hudson was so mad and cried, not because it hurt but because Trent pulled one on him, just like my dad.
We cleaned the tooth up and put it under his pillow. As I was saying good night he was acting funny and so I asked him what was wrong, he said in a nervous voice, "Have you ever seen the tooth fairy? Do you know what it looks like?" I didn't realize he actually believed that it was a real thing but he did. I love that he's still "little" in that sense. I think the thought of a fairy coming in his room at night when he's asleep mad him a bit nervous. I just had to laugh. I reassured him that it was super tiny like tinker bell and it was really nice. And low and behold the tooth fairy came. He was super excited to find a $1 bill under his pillow. And you can bet he checks his other teeth everyday and so does Ruby. She tells me hers are loose everyday. Gotta love kids.

The tooth fairy is really you bum! Small eyes read, remember? Um, a whole $1? Know I guess I know how much it costs these days, I heard a quarter per tooth, man you set high standards! I mean the tooth fairy!
Love the hiking pictures, and I can't believe Sammy has such a beautiful little baby girl! So fun.....
Jaren makes me write on the envelope not to turn his tooth into dream dust because he has bad dreams and he doesn't want the tooth fairy to sprinkle dream dust on him. I have no idea where he got that from but I think it is pretty cute.
K, this is kind of freaking me out... Weird coincidence, but My family blog has the same background as yours, and my craft blog has the same background as Harry's! We must be meant to be friends!!! :) I am following you here.
