For Spring break we decided to take a family day trip and go to SLC. Trent finally took a day off. You'd think owning your own business he would do that often, think again, so it was a special treat. We took the kids down to the Discovery Children Museum at the Gateway. We spent a few hours there. Ruby of course was drawn to the kitchen and shopping center. She had a blast.
(all pictures rfom our day trip were taken from Trents phone so not great.)
Hudson loved the climbing wall. He did pretty good too.
And for the longest time Ruby kept asking when she could see the Easter Bunny. Well, to all of our surprise he happened to be there. (I thought she'd be scared because it was the scariest thing I had ever seen, but she loved him.) Hudson however did not go near him. Do you blame him?
The "gas man"
On top of the roof of the museum was an actual helicopter that the kids could climb in and pretend to fly. They loved it. We also went to lunch, did some shopping, saw "how to train your dragon", which was super cute, and then went to dinner. It was quite a fun day trip and we felt like we were actually on a trip. We ended the night at Amy's house coloring and dying Easter eggs. It was a long day for a pregnant woman but the kids had a blast!
Due to the lovely Utah weather a lot of time was spent playing the wii. The sombreo was just an added accessory that day.
And Ruby spent a lot of time, as she always does coloring. Love his picture of her little piggys sticking out. She loves to use every crayon and see what colors it turns into.
And as always forgot to get the camera out for Easter. But we had a great time listening to conference, having 3 easter egg hunts and eating lots and lots of candy!!!
