We made it!

Say hello to my little boy!
Today I am exactly 20 weeks and 4 days, exactly how far I was when I delivered Harrison. We made it. Its hard to believe that the US picture you are looking at of my little boy is what my little Harrison looked like. I didn't really know how I'd react to getting this far in my pregnancy this time around but lets just say I feel great. I am so happy. So happy because I have a sweet memory of a perfect, beautiful little baby boy. It makes it special in a way to know exactly what my little guy looks like right now. I feel so blessed to have made it this far in my pregnancy without any complications. We weren't really sure if I would be able to have more children, how long it would take us to get pregnant once we felt ready again, and if I would have any complications. And I am so happy that all of the above went so smoothly for us. It really was such a blessing. To have lost a child and decide that you want to have another one, I can't imagine how hard it would've been to have it not go smoothly or to have things go wrong during pregnancy, so for making it to 20 weeks, I am so grateful.

The US went fantastic. I was quite nervous going into the room, but once they turned it on, all I could do was smile and be grateful. He was there, alive and well, with no complications so far what so ever. The perinatologist came in and reassured us that no blood clots were found, he had nothing wrong with him, and he saw nothing at this point to believe that since I had 2 previous healthy pregnancy that anything would go wrong with this one. And yes, its still a boy. We are so happy, couldn't be happier. I feel like now I can finally celebrate and be excited. I know I still have 20 or less weeks to go but I feel like I can breath and can see some hope and a light at the end of the tunnel that I will be able to bring my baby boy home. Trent says he won't really be able to fully breath until our little guy and I are home from the hospital. I don't blame him. I might have been the one who had to physically go through all of it, but he had to just stand on the sides last time and watch and wait while the life of his baby boy slipped away and almost his wife.
It was so fun to come home and show the Hud and Roo the DVD of their little brother. When we came home from the hospital last week, Ruby said, "Did they take the baby out?" I think in a way they still are confused or just don't understand. But once we showed them the movie and they saw him they were so excited. I loved seeing their faces and letting them know that everything was good and he would be able to get bigger and bigger, as well as me.
I feel I can't thank heavenly Father enough for blessing us this time around and I just hope and pray that this happiness continues and that everything does turn out well. Oh and he's so cute! I love that little profile looks just like his brother Harry. We made it!!!
