Awards Ceremony

Monday was the award ceremony down at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Trent and I went down and met his parents there. It was such a nice day and I was super proud of him. I don't think he/we realized how big of a deal it really was. There was a huge article in the Sunday paper all about him and his company. Then on Monday we got a bunch of phone calls, (we only get the weekend paper) that he was in there again. They had a whole section on all the winners. Then KSL 5 news was there as well. They served us an amazing meal, as always, it is the JSM building, they have the best food. Then each recipient was given their award and given a few minutes for a speech.
Trent got a huge applause from everyone and then took a few minutes to thank everyone. He is just amazing. I know it will be a great boost for his business and give him a bit more confidence that he really does have a great thing going here.
(my camera was dead so the pictures aren't great.)
So proud of my Entrepreneur of the Year.

Trent works so hard for our family. He started this business from the ground up and not much money. I remember I was pregnant with Hudson and he came to me and said I want to start a business. I said, "with what?" His business started out with as Northern Utah Academy of Spanish, no money, still getting his bachelors, working in our two bedroom apartment, and only one employee. To now, changing the name to Linquix to better serve the company for expansion to other states, internationally, and on the web. To getting his MBA, having his own office, over 7 employees(sometimes more, depends on how many teachers he needs at the time), obviously making enough money that I am lucky to stay home with my kids, and being rewarded for his effort. He is such a good, honest business man. He well liked by all the business men and women he works with. I love him so much and am so proud of him. I complain a lot that he works so much and is always trying to expand and do more, but I know he's doing it for us, for our future. I also know he loves what he does and that is so important. I am so proud of him. I love my business man.
