Field Trip to Home Depot

After moving from Mountain Green, I had to find Hudson a new preschool because I was not about to drive all the way up there three times a week. Luckily my friend Brooke from high school had a little boy move and so she had an opening in her Hippity Hop Preschool. I was so excited because Hudson already had a friend going there. She is amazing by the way so if any of you live by me and are in need a preschool sometime in the next while let me know. You will need to get on a waiting list right away.
Yesterday was Hudson's first field trip with his new class. They went to Home Depot and it was so fun. All the kids wear their shirts to field trips and he was so excited. They also got a home depot apron, a pin, and a map of the place.
After taking a tour of the place, watching and learning how they make paint and move big things, the kids each got to build something. Hudson was in heaven. They were each given helmet bookends to put together and Hudson was a pro. Now all we have to do it paint it.

Here are both classes from Hippity Hop preschool and their teacher Miss Brooke. Hudson can't wait for his next field trip to Albertsons in February.

I love preschool and field trips because I know my kids are learning and having fun at the same time. Hudson does look like he knows what he's doing - a budding Ty Pennington? You know Miss Brook looks very familiar to me like she was in my last ward and we might know the same Emily T. Huh, small world.
