Bad weekend but good results

Well, time for another update on the baby. I know I just did one last week, but here's another one anyway.
After a horrible weekend with cramping, back pain, and bleeding all weekend and bedrest, I called the Dr and they wanted to see me right away. The risk of preterm delivery with this baby is quite high due to the bleeding. And since I was cramping and in pain and the bleeding wasn't stopping they wanted to make sure everything was ok.
The Dr. checked me to make sure that I was not dilated and I wasn't thank heavens. He then did an US to make sure the baby was fine and to see how the blood was. Well, the baby was, as always, just great. Moving and kicking me constantly now. Its so funny that I am on my 3rd child and I forgot what that felt like. I love it. The blood is just a long thin line and he seems to think that it is going away. YEAH!!!. Just as he wanted and hoped as the baby is getting bigger it is just forcing the out. So even though it is no fun for me, it seems to be going away as far as we can tell. Oh and he also told us what we are having......

Yup that's boy stuff. A little BOY!!!! I am so excited. I love little boys, so fun and crazy. I hope he is like Hudson was, a calm little boy. Although the calmness has subsided a bit. Boys are great. So I am happy for Hudson. Although I am sad for Roo, I wanted her to have a little friend but its good, I guess we'll just have one princess. And isn't that enough?
He said to just take it easy and do bed rest on bad bleeding days and when I go to the big US in 2 weeks we can determine from there what needs to happen. So for now things are ok and as always we are taking it one week at a time.

I'm sorry you've had such a bad time with this. It's a good excuse to take it easy I guess. And I'm excited our boys will be so close!

I love boys too! What fun & I'm glad everything is okay--you take it easy. (Not the simplest task with two other darlings--but do your best.) I'm thinking about you. I love the pumpkin patch extravaganza!

Yea! Congratulations! It's always fun to find out what you are having. Boys are so fun (as you already know)! I hope everything continues to go well with his development. Do you need any help with anything? I could always watch your kids or bring a meal, etc. I know you live in Mt. Green but I seriously wouldn't mind the drive. Just let me know! Congrats again.

Congratulations on the little boy! I love boys, too! I hope everything goes well. Just take care of yourself. As for the caramel apples, I just use Kraft caramels and water. There's a recipe on the back of the bag :)

Yay April! If he's half as cute as Hudson, you'll have a darling little kid. How fun that he is kicking! You're just about 30 days ahead of me~ I haven't felt anything yet...
