Flour Girl/Mountain Men

The other day Hudson came running up the stairs saying, "you better come see what Ruby did." I immediately new. In our laundry room we have a lot of our food storage. I have big buckets of sugar, flour, etc. Well, the lid to the wheat flour is not on tight because I use it often. And low and behold Ruby found it. And of course I had to take pictures.

Luckily my laundry room isn't finished. But as you can see there was flour everywhere. And this was the second time she had done this. The first time was a lot worse. I learned my lesson and put a bunch of heavy stuff on top of the bucket. So far so good.
For some reason Hudson's 72 hour kit/bag was open and was full of flour. And remember how my current vacuum doesn't work, yeah try cleaning this up with a vacuum that doesn't suck. It sucked.

Mountain Men

Saturday was a beautiful day, so Hudson and Trent decided to go hiking up Waterfall Canyon. Ruby and I wanted to go, but we had bad colds and we don't have a backpack for Ruby yet. We are for sure getting one for this summer for all our adventures.

Hudson took his hiking stick. Trent said Hudson was ahead of him the whole time. We still can't believe he can do it. Its pretty far and hard. They were surprised to see so much snow. He said it got scary in a few places but they made it.

On the way up to the waterfall. If any of you live in the close to Ogden you have to hike waterfall canyon if you never have. It is the coolest hike. Its mostly up hill, but its so worth it. And once you get to the top there is a huge waterfall, perfect on hot days to cool off under.

Its right up by my parents house so when I lived there we would do it all the time and take lunch. So fun.
