Benefit Concert

Some friends in my ward, CarolAnne and Laural are putting together a benefit concert for a family in our ward. Here is just a little bit about the family.
Mark Vlaanderen was diagnosed with throat cancer in October, he had a tracheotomy and underwent surgery to remove the cancer, as a precaution they also removed his lymph nodes, so they thought they were in the clear. Then the week before Christmas he found a lump in his throat and later found out that the cancer was back and had spread to his lungs and brain. Mark is self employed, therefore he has no major medical and because of treatments has been too sick to work. His wife is taking care of him and driving him to the treatments at Huntsman Cancer Institute, their only household income is that of their 17 year-old-daughter. Their story is much more involved than this but you can see why we they moved to action.
The Concert will feature T MINUS 5 and Jessie Clark Funk. They put on a really fun family oriented show. The show is next week.
*Thursday, March 13 at 7:00 (doors open at 6:00 - general admission)

*Bonneville High School auditorium
*Cost is $7.00 a ticket and all of the proceeds go to the family. Our musicians are doing this for free, its so cool.
I hope any of you that live in the area can come. It will be a fun night and all for a great cause. Spread the word to family and friends. Thanks
