Birthday Girl turns 6!

I still can't believe my baby girl turned 6 in December! Yes I call all my kids, my babies, because they are!
She was so excited to get the brave doll and horse and dvd!
I took Ruby on a little date, she chose Zupa's and then we went shopping for some new birthday clothes! Its so fun to have a little shopping buddy! She likes it most of the time.
She had a family party on her actual birthday and wanted a Lalaloopsy cake!

I think its the cutest cake my moms made so far! And its perfect for Ruby because we call her Ruby Lala. She is such a lala head! She loves to play by herself and is so quiet and spacey! We love her!
The next morning she had a friend Pancakes and Pajama's party! She had been wanting a friend party for a few years now. I always struggle with having a birthday party for her seeing as her birthday is only a few days before Christmas but it worked out this year!
She invited I think 12 girls, I was a little worried as to how it turn out, seeing as I had a birthday party for Hudson this summer with over 12, 8 year old boys. Lets just say, the girl party was so quiet and fun and well, easy! I'm just glad my boys have summer birthdays so their parties can be outside.

The girls colored their placement while they waited for everyone to arrive.
We had a milk bar where they could mix their own milk, plain, strawberry or chocolate.
 Then they made cereal necklaces.
And then we had birthday cake pancakes. With different kinds of syrup, whip cream and sprinkles! Ruby said it was perfect!

Everyone wore their pj's and it was so fun!
Here's a little bit about Ruby at 6 years old...

What is your favorite drink: strawberry milk
What do you want to be when you grow up: Artist

Ruby is such a good girl and so fun to have in our family. She is loving kindergarten and doesn't like that its half day. She loves to read and write and color. And the minute she gets home from school the first thing she does is go straight to coloring or writing notes. Trent and I get little notes on our pillows, dressers, anywhere all the time. They are so cute and have little pictures and say I love you! Having a girls is so fun and I'm sad she won't have a little sister but she sure loves her brothers even though they pull her hair (Finn) and tease her (Hudson). She is going to be the best little mama to our new baby!
