Ever since Trent and I were married we talked about going to New York City for our 10 year Anniversary. It seemed like a dooable thing at the time and yet so crazy to even think 10 years ahead.
Well, December 20 we did just that celebrated out 10 year anniversary. CRAZY! Time sure flies by!

Due to me being 20 week pregnant and the fact that well, we were looking fora job, New York wasn't an option. Yes I mooped and had a pitty party for myself. I had tons of friends and people I knew celebrating their 10 year anniversary this year as well and had gone to off on some fun trip. I couldn't complain though. Through out our 10 years of being married we have celebrated our Anniversary in Mexico two times, Seattle, Hawaii (ok we went with his family for a wedding and it was in Oct, but we counted that), and then we usually always go stay somewhere in Park City or Salt Lake to get away. So we've always had a great Anniversary, so I can't complain. I know the last few years life has taken us on some crazy journies and we still have each other. 10 amazing year of marriage and we've been through a lot, more than most people and we still love each other and have a great marriage so I can't complain really.
I know someday we'll go on that New York trip, may not be for a few years seeing as we are about to have another baby but we will for sure.
Trent did however manage to surprise me by taking me away even though it wasn't far.
He bought a groupon to the Alaskan Inn, which is where we stayed on our wedding night and we hadn't been back since so it was really fun to reminse. We went out to a nice dinner and a movie. And then the next day we headed down to SLC to City Creek and spent the whole day together.
We had a great time!
I am so grateful for this man in my life. That even through this horrible year kept so positive and never speaks ill of anyone and never is mean or rude or criticizes me. He is amazing really. He sweetest nicest guy you'll meet. I am one lucky gal!
