I have a bunch of random pictures that I need to blog about, so this post will have no flow but will be good for posterity.
For some reason Finn has become obsessed with "forses", (thats the way he says horse). He has two toy horses that he carries everywhere and makes the loudest horse sounds for them. I made the mistake of putting them in the diaper bag for church and in the middle of sacrament he got them out and starting making horse sounds, funny but too loud!
Aunt Amy let him borrow her rocking horse and he has loved it. He even made sure it got feed.
My baby girl lost her first tooth! It had been wiggly for awhile and one day she asked me to just check it. So I grabbed a piece of toilet paper and wiggled and told her it wasn't ready yet, only to realize it was in my hand. It was more than ready. She didn't cry and was so excited for the tooth fairy to finally visit her.
I got a bucket of beads at the local craft store for $5 and it was the best $5 I ever spent! I sat down with the kids the first time to show them how to make bead animals. And I think they made bead animals for days after. Such a great quiet activity for a hot summer afternoon.
Here are a few of the ones Hudson made. He was quite proud.
I love when I catch Finn doing cute, nice things. He loves to sit in his "queen" car and read.
My baby still loves to snuggle!!!
And no that is not my boob, it is the pillow. He was snuggling in my bed with me.
I love to play with my kids, but to be honest I don't do it as much as I should. This particular day I had a horrible headache and they wanted me to show them how to play monopoly so bad, but with a horrible headache that was not going to happen. I later came into the kitchen only to find Hudson teaching Ruby how to play. LOVE when these two play nice!
When the weather is good, Hudson begs Trent to take him on bike rides, they try to go once a week but sometimes its less, sometimes its more. I love that they have something to do together.
However, Ruby doesn't love that she can't go, but I told her there are some things that dads do with sons alone and some things that moms do alone with daughters. But I told her someday when she is better at riding she can go with dad too.
A few weeks after losing the first tooth Ruby lost the other bottom tooth. Its so crazy to see her without teeth and to hear the little lisp she has without them but its so cute! She's getting too big too fast!
For scout one day they learned about bike safety and then went on a long bike ride, Hudson's favorite thing. And he was so excited to have his buddies, Will and Dylan finally get to come to scouts.
