Eight years old!
Its a big deal in our church.
You have the choice to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and my son, Hudson, choose to be baptized.
My sister took some amazing photos of him!

His baptism turned out to be a perfect day.
I was awful and forgot to get a lot of photos but at least I got some of him before he got baptized by his daddy.
I started crying the minute they both walked out in white.
You can see it in my face!
Trent gave a beautiful confirmation and the spirit was so strong.
Hudson looked so happy and was just glowing.
I was so proud of him and his decision to be baptized.
The program was beautiful.
My brother Jeff gave the baptism talk, and had hudson's footprints on different pieces of paper saying the different steps it takes to get the Holy Ghost.
Then the Maw grand kids sang, "I am a Child of God" while my nephew Robbie played it on the violin and Trent's mom played the piano.
I was so happy that our family and friends could share this special day with us. It means so much to me to have all the support and love we have from them!
We had to share the day with another little girl in our ward, Haley Yung and she looked so beautiful!
I wish I would've gotten a photo with both of them.
(I had a good excuse, i was up the night before with a little stomach bug, so I wasn't feeling too well.
It seems to hit me at the worst times!)
After we had everyone to our house for refreshments.
We had a little treat table, my mom made the "8" cookies, turned out so cute!
We also had a veggie and chips and salsa table, just light but yummy!
My sister Sammy was not going to be able to make the baptism since she lives in Colordao and had just had a baby, but she decided last minute to make her trip early so she could be there! We were all so excited, even Hudson!
I am so grateful for my two sisters and my lil brother! I love my family!

Hudson was so cute! I'm glad we got to share the day together! And, yes, I totally thought, "Oh, I should get a picture of them together," and then it was just craziness after! A great day, though!
