Ruby Lala

Oh my little Ruby LaLa.  Thats her new name because I say she is always in Ruby Lala land.  She is so dang funny! This girl is always in her own little world.  She is always talking and singing to herself.  She loves to play by herself in her room or even in Finn and Hudson's room. She could play with anything and everything. And believe she does.  She loves to play with little things.  I always find a purse, a bowl, or a box full of tiny things.  Paper she has cut and glued together, tags from clothes, toys, rocks, flowers, leaves, etc.  you get the idea. She cracks me up all the time.  She will lock herself in the office and if she's in there she will hide whatever she is creating and tell me to get out. Later I will receive a card that she has created. I bet Trent and I get at least 2 cards a day. One day we went to bed and each had a card on our pillow. And they aren't just paper with drawings, but things cut and glued them, even a pin from my sewing room one day was glued to my card. Silly girl! She is a very good artist and is learning to write so well.
She is also a hoarder as I'm sure you can imagine from her love of all things. I'll open a drawer in her room and it is chuck full of everything! She can't throw anything away.  I don't know where she gets it because I hate "stuff" and clutter.  I have to go in her room when she doesn't know and throw things away, but well it doesn't always help because she will look through the garbage and find them. Oh that silly girl. I love her!
This was her first year of soccer. Ruby could not wait! She was so excited, she has been wanting to play forever, because Hudson has been playing for awhile. But when she actually got on the field, well Ruby Lala appeared on the field. It sure made for a good laugh. That girl was clueless but so cute! She is not aggressive but sure did have fun.  Here's hoping she gets her mama's soccer gene but if not thats ok too.

She started dance last year and is still loving it! She shows me her "splits" all the time and if she's anything like her mama she will never be able to do them. I danced all the way till 9th grade but don't ever remember being able to do them.
She takes dance from a girl in my moms ward who is on the OHS drill, she is also all state in dance, she is amazing! Ruby loves it! They do a different kind of dance each week and its only $15 a month, killer deal!
I love this little girly! I am so glad I have a girl, I never thought I would for some reason so the day we learned we were having a girl Trent and I were shocked and so excited! She is such a joy in our family.  Yes, she does bring the drama, screaming, crying, whining, but she also brings so much laughter and fun.  She is such a good sister and such a big help to me.  I love her stories and how she could talk all day long. She has such a sweet heart and loves to snuggle, which is trents favorite things.  Ruby is loving preschool but sure wishes she was old enough to go to kindergarten like most of her friends did this year.  I can't believe she's going to be 5 next month, time sure does fly.
