Surprise Family outing

Trent and I decided we were in need of a "family day out!" Since Trent has been so stressed out and busy with is business, teaching days/nights at Stevens Heneger College and Bishopric we decided to surprise the kids with a ride on Trax to Disney on Ice in SLC.  We told them we had a super fun day planned and that it was a surprise.  They kept trying to guess. Hudson was getting really frustrated and kept saying, "I hate this! Just tell me!" Well, then a commercial came on tv and it was an advertisement for Disney on Ice, Ruby screamed and jumped up and down, "DISNEY LAND! Is that where we're going? Disney Land?" We about died, oh know does she think that that's Disney Land? Or does she just think that's where we were going? We felt sooo bad! We want to take them there so bad but its just not the right time yet, hopefully next year. So we told her, no its not Disney Land. She asks almost daily if we can do to Disney Land. Its so sad!

The first surprise was riding Trax(almost like a train!) to Salt Lake. It was about an hour ride and the kids loved it! We rode trax over 2 years ago so they had forgotten how fun it was!

 My handsome Huddy and I. We decided to leave Finn with my mom. It was a good idea because we were able to focus on Hudson and Ruby and not worry about diapers, bottles, and we didn't get home till late so he woud've been tired.

 Here they are walking into the Delta Center (ok yes I know it has a new name, but I hate it and it will always be the Delta Center to me!) They still at this point had no clue where we were going. I did tell Ruby she could pick a Princess outfit to wear and she still didn't get it!

 When we finally got inside they saw all things Disney everywhere! We then let Hudson read his ticket and he they both got all excited!

 They LOVED IT!We got treats and they each got a prize (thanks mom!). We had great seats and I was amazed at how cool it really was!

 Ruby was in awe the whole time! Trent snapped this photo of her right when it started! I don't think they knew what was coming! She was in love with all the Princesses and Hudson loved the toy story and the Brooms from fantasia part! It was so fun and magical for them. It made me so excited for when we can finally take them to Disney Land!
