Favorite Baby items

I'm in a blogging rut if you haven't noticed. Winter is getting boring. Finn has been sick for over a month now, cold, cough, thrush, teething, you name it. So I just haven't done anything worthy of blogging about. So I thought I'd blog about some of the fun, interesting, and life saving baby items I've liked this time around.
I LOVE baby stuff!
I love going to babies r us, the baby isle of any store, and I always get sad when my kids are out of the "baby stage" because I love to buy baby stuff! So I wanted to share with you some of the new and old baby things I have LOVED this time around

 I LOVED the bumbo.
I know babies who can be in the bumbo past their 1 yr birthday, Finn didn't due to his chubby thighs (he gets that from me, hehe!)
I never had one with Hudson or Ruby and I wish I had!
It is so convenient, you can take it anywhere, and I loved that he could sit it at an early age and feel, "BIG".
One of my favorite new foods this time around are the baby foods that come in these convenient little pouches! They are a bit pricey, about $1.20 or so, but I love that I can feed Finn anywhere with it. I can leave it in my bag and if he's hungry whip it out and I don't have to have a spoon or bowl, just squeeze it right in his little mouth. They are less mess, super yummy (yup I tried them) and just darn cool! He loves them too and he's a picky eater so its well worth it.
I remember as a child having a gloworm and loving it! I got Ruby one and she loved it, still does. When she was a baby she would say, "glow baby", meaning I want my glow worm to sleep with. She couldn't wait to get Finn and Violet their own globabies, everytime we went to the store she wanted to buy one for him and he wasn't even born yet. So thats what she got both of them for Christmas.  I decided to go with the Fisher Price soothe and glow seahorse this time around. Finn loves it! I wonder if Violet does?
One thing I love about is that it lights up and plays music. Finn goes to sleep every night to his mobile music. So whenever he has to go to sleep somewhere else its hard to get him to sleep without music, SPOILED! So I love that I can take his glow seahorse and push his belly and walla, 15 min of music. The best part is when he is a bit older he will be able to push the belly himself if he wants it to glow or play music.
I LOVE my Sweet Ruby blanket (did you think I wouldn't?)
Finn has been my first baby to actually use my own product! Hudson and Ruby were both attached to their blankets when I started, so when I had Finn I was so excited to actually use it! And well, I have to say, its pretty awesome! He loves it. The best part is when he wakes up at night wanting his blanket or binky I don't have to search on my hands and knees in the dark in the middle of the night looking for his binky (Trent and I would do that almost nightly with Hudson and Ruby.) Finn usually can find it on his own because he knows it connected to the blanket. But if for some reason he can't find it, its super easy for me too. I love that its small, soft, and well just plan cute!

And the binky clip is a lifesaver! Ruby used them and it was so nice because she LOVED her binky but she also LOVED to talk. So when she talked it would come out and if she hadn't had that clip it would've gotten dropped/lost every second. Like in this picture of her outside, imagine trying to find that binky in those leaves. (oh I forgot how stinkin' cute she was!) They come in handy once those babies start walking and talking.

I LOVE Robeez (or any brand of these type of baby shoes)! My babies always have puffy/chubby feet, so trying to squish their little baby feet into shoes is impossible. But they need shoes on because if they don't their socks fall off and then they have bare, cold feet. Ruby had a few pair and Finn does as well and I love them. So cute, soft, and perfect for crawling, walking, and keeping toesies warm and covered.
I don't know how I ever lived without the aden and anais swaddle blanket!
These were amazing the first few months of Finns life. They are huge and made out of muslin so they are super thin and soft (which was perfect for summer.) Finn LOVED to be swaddled those first few months but because it was summer I didn't want to swaddle him in a cotton or flannel blanket, they don't breath and they aren't big enough. Seriously, these are worth every penny. And probably my #1 baby item this time around. Finn still loves his but he's no longer swaddled although these are big enough he could be if he wanted.
Well there you have it, some my favorite baby items. Too bad my baby is almost out of the "baby stage", he's gonna be 9 months next week and soon, 1! Then on to the toddler stage.
Which I actually LOVE just as much.

I like posts like this. They are fun and different from the everyday "what we have been up to updates." I loved my bumbo for Carter, and he had a gloworm too- Just like I did as a kid. The pouch babyfood came out just recently but it looks like something I would try and love this time around. I JUST GOT MY FIRST SWEET RUBY PACIFIER BLANKET in the mail TODAY! It is SO cute and I love it and I know my baby is going to love it too. I have a swaddle blanket from when Carter was born but it is made of fleece so maybe I will have to take your recommendation on the swaddle blankets. Oh, and I love binky clips too but didn't use one with Carter as much as I should have. I am going to try and be better with that this time around!

I couldn't agree more with your "loves!" I always have to have a binkie clip because I hate when vi's binkie falls on the ground, vi does love her glow baby, i think she'll become more attached to it when she's a little older but so far, likes it. LOVE the aden and anais blankets, and the bumbo, life saver!

So fun! Bumbo, Robeez I love too. I need a binky clip! It's taken 4 months, but I think I've convinced my sweet pea that she likes it. :)
