The week before Christmas is super busy for us.(our anniversary on 12/20, Ruby's b-day on 12/21, and then Christmas, yes we know how to plan.)
We always try to do something special for our Anniversary. For one, we don't always get to go on dates as often as we'd like and well, my husband just loves to take me places. If we can't go on a trip we usually try to get away at least for a day or two. This year we decided to take a weekend and go Christmas shopping, eat dinner at the Cheesecake Factory (so good!), stay at the Little America (So nice!) in Salt Lake, and we were given free tickets to the Mormon Tab and David Archuletta Concert, so it made for a great 8th Anniversary.
I love this man sooo much! (Trenton that is)

Here we are standing outside for an hour in the freezing rain waiting to get into the concert! We were soaked and freezing but it was so worth it!
Taking a picture yourself is kind of hard, I look like a DORK!
OH, can I just say this kid is AMAZING! And then to have the choir behind him and the live orchestra, made it even better!
I was hoping so badly that he would sing "Silent Night". It is my favorite one on the CD and so when he sang it I about died. I bawled my eyes out! It was amazing, feeling the spirit, hearing him sing, and well, it didn't hurt that the Prophet was in the front row either.
We had a great weekend away, only wish it could have lasted longer.
