6 Month stats

Weight: 20lbs 15oz (95%)
Height: 28 3/4 inches (off the chart!)
Head: (60%)
This is kind of a bad picture but I had to post it so you could see that he doesn't really fit on the changing pad anymore.

Dr Clawson said he is the sweetest baby. She took him from me and he just looked up at her, smiled and went back to chewing his fingers. She said he's gonna be tall and she said its hard to believe a 6lb baby can grow that big and that fast in 6 months. Usually 9-10lb babies at birth weigh this much at 6 months. She said just shows her that he wasn't growing toward the end of the pregnancy so good thing he came out when he did.
My brother still has him beat though. He was 24lbs at 6 months (he was one of the almost 10lb babies at birth). Its nuts because Ruby was only 21lbs at a year.

*He is the sweetest, happiest, most content baby there is! I am not sure I want to have more kids after him because he's just been an angel, really spoiled, hopefully the toddler years are the same. Actually all of my kids were angel babies, slept through the night early on, not sick, happy babies, but he is super super content. I guess he has to be with all the running around at this house.

*You'd think he'd be drinking bottles like crazy but he only has about 3-4 a day at 8oz each and doesn't eat/drink from 7pm-7am on, he's sleeping. He actually doesn't really seem interested in bottles anymore. He usually drinks about 4 oz and then has to come up for air and too look around and usually doesn't finish the rest for awhile unless he's super hungry. Its become a silly game.

*I got him a sippy cup and well, he' s not sure how to use it yet he just likes to bang it on the bumbo tray and chew on it.

*He loves breakfast and lunch time. When I put him in the bumbo he knows its time to eat and he gets so excited. He bangs his feet on the counter over and over as you can see in the picture. And I know what your thinking, "He can FIT in a bumbo?" Why yes he can, all it takes is a little bit of pushing and pulling to get him in and out. But once he's in he loves it and is nice and comfy.

*He loves peas, applesauce, sweet potatoes and chicken, and pears. He also still loves rice cereal and oatmeal. The Dr said I could try giving him other foods but not sure what else to feed him? He still chokes/gags on those little baby cereal things that are supposed to dissolve. He does however love sucking/chewing on my pizza crust.

*Finn loves the jumpy. He could jump forever!

*He lights up when he sees his brother and daddy but really lights up when he says Ruby. I think because she talks to him so sweet! She calls him, "My Finney!"

*He smiles at everyone. He has a little bashful smile but then warms up and gets all excited.

*He is so in love with his blankie. When you give it to him he grabs at it and smooches it right to his face. He likes his binky too but only when he's tired. He has almost figured out how to find it himself when sleeping thanks to the good old binky blanket! He knows its attached there somewhere.

*He still doesn't roll over or scoot (although he has rolled over, he just won't do it). Its so funny and weird. He has been sitting since way before 5 months so the Dr isn't worried at all, she said babies who are as content and big as he is have no reason to roll or crawl but she said once he figures it out, watch out because he's gonna go fast!

*Takes 2 really good long naps and one kitty nap.

*Love any toy that makes noise.

*Loves music! He sings whenever he hears music. We went to Tangled on Thanksgiving and he was singing to the music it was so funny!

*He has a really low voice and talks like crazy! He says dada and baba and then a bunch of babble.

*2 teeth still

*he grabs at everything! Especially Ruby's hair and my glasses.

*I love when he wakes up from naps and nighttime. He doesn't every cry he just lays in there looking at his mobile and talks and talks. Then when he hears you open the door you can see his arms and legs moving like crazy and hear a squeal from him in delight!

We love our Finney. Time with him is going so, he's getting so big, curious, playful, and interacts so much more, I forgot how fun 6 months is.

He's such a cutie! He seems like such a happy little guy. :) I'm sure he will be off and getting into everything soon!

I just can't believe he is already 6mo. He is the sweetest you need to bring him over to visit me more often! I enjoy his little face and chubbiness!
