Girls weekend getaway

I had one of the funnest weekends ever. I went on a girls weekend getaway to Bear Lake with my friends from book club, most are from my ward.  I love these ladies! I missed last year and I'm so glad I didn't miss this year. We went to Priscilla's cabin, all 14 of us for a weekend getaway with no kids or husbands.  We meet at Cafe Sabor and had a great dinner and well, laughed our heads off.

When I moved into this ward almost 2 years ago it was crazy how many people I knew and how many connections I already had with all of them. I went to school with Jen's husband Mike. Kelly and Jaime who are in our club are Mikes (Jen's husband) sisters, I'm also good friends with their other brother Andy. Too funny. Its amazing all the connections we have with each other.

Here's Tash, my next door neighbor from Mt Green, she just happened to be friends with all these girls too, so I went to my first book club, I was so happy to see her there.

After dinner, we went back to the cabin, got on our jammies and started the slumber party. We ate tons of goodies, had pedicures, and talked/laughed all night long. Most of us didn't go to sleep until 3:30 am.

 I was already getting sleepy and it was only 11:00. But I made it till 3:30.

 And you'd think without any responsibilities or kids to wake us up we'd sleep in but we woke up about 8:30 and started right back up, talking and laughing.

We got a picture before leaving with all the girls and the beautiful fall background. I love these girls and I am so glad I went and that I've made such good friends in just a few short years. Thanks ladies can't wait till next year! Well and all the other times we get together! Missed all you ladies that couldn't make it this year.
