Summer update

Summer is over, Hudson starts 1st grade on Wednesday and Ruby starts preschool in a few weeks. I am so sad to see the fun, crazy days end but at the same time so happy to finally have some structure to our day. Here are some pictures of some of the things I've forgotten to blog about this summer.

 This summer my kids loved to go sit in the front yard on a blanket and play legos and eat lunch. They are so dang cute and most of the time are bests friends.

 

Baby Violet came to visit a few times.  She is getting so cute and big. I thought it was so dang cute. The other day they were taking a nap together and were sleeping the same way. So cute!

We went to our annual trip to Bear Lake with Trents family. I was horrible at taking pictures these were the only ones I took. 

I looked over one day to see the three princesses sitting on their camping chairs starring at the trailer. They are so funny.

I was a bit worried about camping with Finn who was 2 months at the time, but he was great. He slept through the night, although I didn't. Now I know why that baby doesn't sleep in our room, he is so noisy and I think with every peep he made I was worried he was gonna wake everyone up in his parents trailer. We had tons of fun as always and the weather was perfect.

 

 

Ruby LOVES to sing with her daddy. He has written all our kids a song and has also written some "fun" songs to sing as well. Ruby is his biggest fan and loves to sing with daddy. Trents been busy getting ready for the Plain City Arts Festival, he is playing again this year and we can't wait to see him on stage. I'll let you all know so you can come and see. 

 

My cute Hubby turned the big 3-0 this month. The kids and I got him some cupcakes from Vintage Cupcake. He had been dying to try the cookie dough one and well, it didn't disappoint.

I decided to throw a surprise birthday party for Trent.  One of his favorite places is Frogurt so I called and asked if I could throw a party there. They were more than thrilled for me to have one there. I took him to Goodwood his favorite restaurant and then shopping for a bit. It was actually his idea to run to Frogurt before we headed to the movie so that worked out great. When we arrived he had no idea. I really thought he knew because he wanted to go there but he said he really didn't. So I'm glad I pulled the surprise off. I don't know that I will ever throw another one again. it was super hard, not a lot of people showed up, and everyone was mad because I was late to the party. But come we can't be on time to a surprise party and if you know Trent you know that he runs on his own time so it was hard getting him to move faster when he thought he was just enjoying a nice night out with his wife. OH well, he was surprised and thats all that mattered.
