I love Green!

I Love Green!!! I'm just drawn to is naturally. So in honor of St. Pattys Day, Here's a few examples:

In my first home, I painted the kitchen green and LOVED IT!
My second home was in Mount Green! And the hardy plank (wood siding) around the rock, windows and back of the house was the prettiest green. Hard to tell in the this picture. Ahh miss that gorgeous house. Stupid economy. Good thing we didn't have to sell it, we just walked away.

Our home we live in now and love, the hardy plank/wood siding around the windows and back of the house is an ugly orange brown that is in need of some serious paint. The plan is to have it painted a nice green this summer. More of the greyish green like our home in Mt Green. And boy I can't wait. I think it will give our home a "newer" look. And hopefully this year our garden will be full of "green".
I am Hudson's soccer coach so I got to pick out their jersey color and yup I picked green. Although I felt bad when I got home. I thought they'd just hand me my jerseys and I didn't realize i got to pick or I probably would've let Hudson choose.
-I have Green eyes, ok more of a green/hazel, so of course the only natural thing to do is to wear green to make them green! And I do.
-Ruby's Easter Dress is green this year, as well as Hudsons dress shirt.
-My master bath has green and brown towels, just need to paint the walls green, I think it will work great with the brown walls of our bedroom.
-our other bathroom has green and blue towels and decorations. I decided not to paint the walls green, so they are cream.
-And well, almost every accent, decoration in my kitchen, family room, and living room is green.
-I am also trying to talk Trent into painting our family room, yup, green
-Baby boys room and bedding is green and brown, just like above. We didn't buy the same quilt because well, those crib quilts are so stiff and they don't use them anyway. So my mom made the most amazing quilt/blanket for him in minky with greens and browns that matches his bedding. Can't wait to show you. And of course his Sweet Ruby blankets will all be green and brown! My plan is to stain the beadboard on the bottom half of the room and paint the top half either green, light brown, or beige. And then do vinyl circles (not to many) in those colors. Pictures of all that to come when its finished. I can't wait!!!
So yup, I guess this holiday is for me, am I a little obsessed? Maybe.  I guess it could be worse.
But wouldn't you know, I just realized I'm not even wearing green today. I guess I need to go fix that.

Hey April. . . you probably have all your bedding for the baby. But if you want. I did those exact colors in Haydn's room. . . so if you want the crib skirt you can have it. When we lowered the crib i had to take it out. Its the circles on your sheet.

Haha!! You sound just like me! I'm totally drawn to green! I painted a couple accent walls in my house green, my bathroon towels are green, I bet half of my shirts are green (the other half are black), and yesterday I painted our tv stand green. There's just so many pretty shades of green..how can we resist?!?
