Baby Shower

I have an amazing group of friends that we call each other, "angel mommies". We all found each other through the blog world and all lost babies around the same time. It has been such a blessing to have them in my life. They know how I feel, what I'm going through, and its just been amazing getting to know them and share our stories. The funniest part has been that we are all having babies now. They decided to throw a shower for Amy and me who are due around the same time.

Here's Amy and me with our little sock monkeys that our friend Shelia made, too cute!!!

All the Angel Mommies.
Top: Jen(in orange) just had her baby James who was stillborn not sure why in October. My heart just ached for her because of what she's just gone through and how hard the months are ahead of trying to heal. Then Natalie, Sharon (Shelia's twin sister) and Shelia.
Bottom: The two pregger gals: Amy and me.

Amy is 27 weeks and I am 30 weeks. (I look HUGE here. I haven't even gained that much either so weird. Must be the whole 4th pregnancy thing.) We'll probably deliver around the same time because she will be delivered early due to what happened with her first baby Alexis. The Dr. said when it got closer to my due date we'd discuss what my options where on delivering early as well.
Amy had Alexis close to her due date due to a cord accident, she was stillborn and Alexis was absolutely beautiful. She doesn't have any other children so this is truly exciting and nerve wrecking all at the same time for her and I am so excited for her to get to experience the wonderful, happy side of motherhood.
My good friend Shelia, who I've actually known for awhile, we were in the same ward for 3 years made this adorable carseat tent cover. I am so excited, I love it!!!! Shelia was due with her baby Sharon about a month after I had Harrison. She was 36 weeks and didn't feel right one day, the baby hadn't moved a lot. Sharon was stillborn and also just beautiful and precious. She was named after Shelia's twin sister Sharon.
Shelia recently had a baby girl Ambry and everything went great.
My other friend Natalie had a baby as well close to her due date, but due to a cord accident he was also born still. His name is Branson.  My face in red in the picture below because I was crying. When I opened Natalies gift she said that a few of the outfits inside were clothes that were supposed to be Bransons. I just broke down. I felt so honored that she wanted me to have them. How hard to give some of your babies clothes away that were brand new and never been worn. It made me feel really special and honored. I had a few outfits that I had bought and my mom had bought for Harrison. I remember not wanting to look at them in the closet when I came home from the hospital. I also didn't know what to do with them. Not knowing if I'd have more kids or a boy for that. I did give a few away but I saved a few special ones and can't wait for Harrison's little brother to get to wear them.
Natalie, also had a baby girl, actually the same day that Shelia had Ambry. And they are both doing great.

Shelia (short hair) with baby Ambry and then Natalie (long hair) with baby Brooklyn both born on the same day. Maybe Amy and I will deliver on the same day too. Although tomorrow she is moving to Idaho, but still that would be fun!

Here are all the angel mommies. At the shower Amy and I threw for Natalie and Shelia we had pictures of all the babies we had lost in honor of them. So this time Shelia and Natalie wanted to include them as well, so they had balloons with our babies names on them and at the end of the night, we went outside and let them go. It was so sweet of them to throw us a shower and remember our babies.

how special is that! You are so lucky to have all of those ladies around you. It is weird seeing all of you together because I have read so many of their blogs. What a wonderful idea to have that rainbow shower with so many of you having babies after losing one. I am hoping to join the ranks soon. We'll see.
love you!

All I can think is, Man, I wish I could have been there!! I don't know some of those who were there but I would have loved it anyway. (I don't know when the shower was but I almost went to Utah last weekend with my husband, if that's when it was.)

I bet the whole night was very special. Can't wait to continue following your pregnancies!
