Trent and I had our family reunions back to back this summer. Of course I forgot to use my camera at both but at least at mine I have some great cousins who love to take pictures.
Its a tradition every year at Trent's family reunion to have it at Grandpa Shurtleff's old house/farm in Harrisville, which Trent's sister Natalie and her hubby own. As tradition we all camp out, have dinner, play games, ride horses, 4-wheelers and Uncle Billy brings his projector and we watch a movie when it gets dark outside. This year we watched Evan Almighty. Its one of Hudson's' favorite shows. The kids had a blast and we all slept really well, until thers Rooster woke us up at the crack of dawn. He didn't shut up once. Every 30 min I would wake up to him, although I don't like guns or killing animals I wish I had a gun at that moment. (ok not really but COME ON!!) Then we all wake up, clean up, and eat a breakfast.
Then the Roy and Ruby Speechly reunion was the next night. We had amazing food, gourmet hot dogs, salads, and homemade ice cream. There was tons of stuff for the kids to do. A whip cream mustache race, pinata, cotton candy, water balloon fights, and a good ol' slippin' slide. Every one had a blast. Its always fun to see everyone, because it really only happens once a year. There were a few people missing and we missed them a ton.

Fun pictures!!! I seriously love summer...I'm getting really sad that it's almost over. In the past I've loved fall...the weather, the colors, the food. But now it means something totally different...sending my little boy away ALL DAY LONG!!! I'm really sad. :(
How fun! I love those pictures whoever's they were! (pretty sure thats not a word) Trent's sounds like a lot of fun, all that stuff you guys do! and the sleep over, awesome, but crappy about the rooster, Erik would've shot it no doubt! ha ha
