Slowly coming together

Here's a few pics I promised of the work we've been doing on our house. Its a work in progress.

Trent and Hudson worked hard one night taking the ramp off our front porch.
This is the spot where I want to plant one of those flowering trees right in the middle of the rocks. Then plant some perennials around it.
And all the wood you see around the windows and the siding at the top and on the back part of the house thats orange, ehh, hate it, we are going to paint or re- ue in hardy plank some sort of green color. I can't wait. We also need to paint our fence, its horrible.

I forgot to take a picture as always of before, but where Trent is raking were the ugliest bushes, all over, so we took them out and covered this part with grass. Looks so good now.

Here's our front porch with no ramp. Its ugly right now but we're working on it. We are going to take the existing stairs and rail off and build new ones all the way across. Then get a new rod iron and wood rail and then stain the whole thing. This is also where I want to put two cute chairs and a small table so we can relax on our big porch. We also got new #'s to replace those huge ugly ones. I am telling you they are huge! Here's a shot of most of the front house. We live on the corner in a col-de-sac and love it. The kids love to just ride their bikes all over. Its perfect.

Oh and the house next door to us is for sale, needs so updating but would be a great home. Its about 300 more square feet than ours, so we are thinking about 3400 sq ft. And has a totally awesome backyard with a big covered deck off the back. Please someone with kids move in.
