My little girl

Pushing her baby "Amy". She got this doll for her Birthday and Amy, my sister, told her that her new name was Amy and well, it stuck. She loves Baby Amy. She's my little momma.
Watching cartoons one morning. Cute picture, but she hardly ever looks at the camera.

Here she is at SO days blowing her train whistle while Riding the train. She had so much fun.

Chillin' at the Josh Gracin concert with her other favorite doll, Chloe. She loves her too. I love her too because she is small and can fit right in my purse.

On Sunday she got her fingers and toes painted for the 4th of July by Grammy. She sat still for over 30 min while Grammy painted stars and stripes. She loved it. More to come of that.
I had a few cute pictures of Ruby I wanted to post. She is super hard to get a picture of because she has to "cheese it" or won't look at the camera, but she's still cute. My little Roo is now 2 1/2, crazy huh. She is getting so old and big. She makes us laugh everyday. She is so independent, wanting to do things all by herself. My favorite things about her are her gorgeous blue eyes and her dark hair. I also love her little girly voice although I sure hate when she screams. Just ask anyone whose heard her scream, it is the highest loudest pitch scream ever. We found out that Trent had the highest scream when he was little so we know where she got it.
I love that she sings constantly and loves to dance and make up songs. We find her in her room all alone reading books, playing kitchen and house. She is such a girl, I thought maybe she'd be not so girly because of having an older brother but this girl is obsessed with purses and takes one almost everywhere stuffed with all her dolls, toys, and play food. One day her purse was full of hotdogs and french fries, (fake of course). And everytime I put a dress on her she says, "I look so pretty, I'm Princess Ruby." Thanks to her daddy, who calls her a princess. OH my.
I've also kind of started potty training. Every morning I let her go nakey and she will go #1 and #2 but the minute she is done she wants a diaper on. She does wear underwear some mornings but doesn't understand that you have to take them off to go potty. I am trying to teach her she has to take them off but she just doesn't know how to undress yet, even as much as I show/teach her. So we're just taking it slow but she's doing good. I just am not being consistent, its hard in the summer when we're constantly gone. So in due time I think we'll do it full fledge and she'll do great. We just got the pampers potty training DVD in the mail so one of these days when things slow down we'll sit down and watch it and see how it goes. Wish me luck, I hate potty training.
Oh I forgot to post below about another Ruby moment. The other day Trent was asking Ruby to go to her room and get her shoes. He said it really nicely and she stormed off and yelled, "UGH, SERIOUS!!" We were laughing hysterically. I guess I say serious a lot like, "I am serious . . ." She picked up on it, although doesn't say it in the right context or way, but now says it all the time, and running off says, "Ugh, Serious," Hilarious. Love that girl.

This is such a fun age! I love that they are really starting to "pretend" more. That's cute that she's such a good little mommy :)
