River Parkway

I didn't get a walk/run in Thursday morning because of Preschool Graduation so I promised the kids we go on a walk to the river parkway that night. Trent teaches late at a local college two days a week so it was something fun for the kids and I to do together. They loved it, we used to walk there all the time when Hudson was little but we hadn't done that walk in a long time. They loved the walk because we were right by the river the whole time. And they loved going under the cars in the picture below. They would scream when we'd go underneath. I wanted too, its a bit scary to think of tons of cars driving over you. It was a great workout too, pushing two kids weighing together about 68lbs in a stroller up and down hills, totally wore me out.

I told the kids on the way back to the car we could pick a spot to stop and play by the river they picked the spot below. They called it our, "secret spot." Isn't it gorg? This is right by the walkway. So pretty and perfect.
They loved throwing rocks in. We can't wait to go with daddy.

I also promised the kids that on the way back up from the walk we could stop at the park that's in the middle. They had a blast and I enjoyed the rest.

I think they both went down the slide over 100 times.
