Thanks to all of you moms that responded and I would still love to hear from more of you. I know we all have days like those and its weird, some days they can do the craziest things and I can control myself and I'm fine. But then other days they do the littlest things and it sets me off. I know its my fault as a mother, I need to have more patience, try and do what I know I need to do like read the scriptures daily for guidance, pray, and just walk away or count to ten. And sometimes it works. Thank you so much. I know we are in this together and I don't know if I did the right thing talking about Hudson and what he did on the Internet now its on here for life. Hopefully his future college professors won't find that last post. oops.
Thanks to all you moms. Its hard work but I know we all love our kids and wouldn't trade them for anything.
My birthday was yesterday and he drew the cutest picture for my birthday and told me Happy Birthday the first thing when he woke up. He is my sweet little big baby boy and my baby boy is going to kindergarten this year. We had Kindergarten round-up yesterday and man did that hit home. I have a kindergartner, crazy. We both can't wait.

Your life story echoes my life story. Every mother understands/goes through this that is why we need each other. We just have to take it one day or one minute at a time.
Don't worry so much about posting it on the internet. It is going to be fine. I am glad we have the support we do too!
I just read your story and I am with you! It has been so hard lately, the worst is when I see Sydney mirror me and I almost feel embarrassed, sometimes it feels like everyone but me has it together! I tell myself everyday that I am going to stop yelling, but its hard!
I am not a mom yet so I don't really know what it's like, but kids aren't perfect and sometimes you have to get upset. I think you are a great mom, don't get down on yourself. I wanted to tell you to read some blogs from my sisters sister-in-law. she has 5 kids under 5 and maybe reading her blog will make you feel a little better. just go to my page and then look for jerry and kristin olsen. it's really funny! hope you are feeling better and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
sorry it's just the olsen's.
Ok, so I am still thinking about your post. Then it hit me, you know Brian. So he is one of the most responsible, honest, mild mannered people I have ever known. Right? When he was a kid, he beat in the legs of their trampoline with a baseball bat, just for fun. He pushed his sister down a flight of like 14 or more stairs and broke her teeth out, just to see what would happen. His mom tells me these stories totally laughing now, but when they happened. . . who knows. I guess it's safe to say that even amazing people were naughty kids! And I know it's not us moms fault, because they have cute little brains of their own that think these things up! Hang in there!
April, we all feel like we are not doing that good of a job, from time to time.
When Austin was about 2, my Dad wanted to surprise my mom with a brand new couch for Christmas. My Dad put it in the living room on Christmas eve. Dan and I went over to help carry it in the house. My little Austin found a black magic marker and wrote all over my moms new couch. She had not even got it yet for Christmas. I felt so bad, what do you do? We laugh about it to this day. She still has the couch and all the love that Austin put into it that Christmas Eve.
Some times you just have to put your hand in the air and LAUGH!
Aps, YOu are a GOOD mother! A normal mom. And Huddy is a normal kid. :) I must admit, I did laugh. That is an expensive laugh though. I think they will cost us a lot over the years. But, you KNOW it's worth it. DO NOT feel guilty!! You are a REAL, GENUINE mom--and you admit it.(blogs are just a bit fake--ok a LOT fake ;)and it's great). "There is no perfect way to be a good mother. Every situation is unique. Each mother has different skills and abilities, and certainly different children!" -Elder Ballard (April 2008) READ IT AGAIN!
Kindergarten will be AWESOME!! He'll do great and YOU will love it! SO FUN!!
