An amazing book
I just wanted to let those of you know that on Harrison's blog I am doing a review of an incredible book, "Gone Too Soon: The life and loss of infants and unborn children." A book that has helped me so much through all of this, my only regret is that I didn't read it earlier. If any of you have ever questioned or wondered why me or other women like me who've had a miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, or infant die, have such a hard time I think this will give you some insight as to why. Over the next few days I am doing somewhat of a book report on each chapter, it isn't a long book. It is one of those books that I feel everyone should read, if you yourself have experienced this, but also if you are a friend, neighbor, or family member to someone who has lost a baby at any stage. But if you don't want to read the whole book then this will help. I hope it will help you to understand somewhat as to why its so hard. Of course start at chaper one. I was worried that with Sunday being my due date that I would be struggling, but honestly I can say after reading this book on Tuesday I have had so much peace. I know one thing that has made it so hard is that fact that we've had four very long months to get to his due date which is Sunday. Its been hard to feel at peace and "move on" not that we ever will completely move on, but we feel that the due date has continued to remind us that we would still be looking forward to his birth. I am still sad and not looking forward to Sunday but I really do feel that the grieving is normal and I do feel I am finally getting some peace. Thanks April

I did read your book review and it is so neat to see what you are going through. I understand why you are having a hard time and I know that with time you will be okay. I am sooooo glad that you found something that can help you and answer some of your questions! Sunday will be a nice day, we are having a wonderful dinner and then Brody is telling about his mission! It will be great! We love you! I read your review this morning and it is very interesting. Has Trent read it? He should if he hasn't!
I will have to check it out, things have been pretty crazy since we got home from our trip and next week I start commuting to logan everyday, but I'll for sure have to check it out.
