Bathroom renovations

When we first looked at this house in the summer I hated it. For one, it wasn't for sale so I knew that if they were actually going to put it on the market they would've fixed a few things to get top $ as Clive on Designed to Sale would say. (love that show). It was so ugly, her taste was horrible, and the bathrooms were total 70's. Well, as you know we decided to go to a home in Mountain Green, but after 5 months decided we needed to move and buy another house. So Trents friend Bill told us to look at his house again, so we did. I was in a bad mood. I didn't want to move, so I had blinders on, I tried to act like I hated the house when we looked at it in November but I actually really liked it. There were some things that had been updated but there were a lot of things that needed updating, the bathrooms being one of them. They had all intentions of updating the because there were over 20 boxes of really nice tile in the garage, which they left for us. So over the weekend, we enlisted our friends Bob(really his name is Trent) and his wife Emily who is also a great interior designer, to help us.

This is the full shot of the bathroom. Look at that lovely medallion in the shower. UGH! The vanity is horrible too. One thing about this bathroom is that although dated it was in great shape and really clean.

This is the floor in the master bathroom, sick huh? They had for some odd reason cut away at the linoleum all around the bathroom. I had hated it since we moved in and was scared to walk on it. We had rugs all over though so that helped.

I left at 9 to take the kids to my moms to sleep, shower, and go to the bathroom. Since they decided to kill two birds with one stone and do both bathrooms we didn't have a toilet.

Hello beautiful floor. Although I'm not sure I would've picked this tile, I do really love it. This is a pick of the master.

This is the main bathroom.

Now all we need to do is paint the vanities, get new counters and sinks, paint and decorate.

Unfortunately I will not get it all done by the boutique but at least I can paint and decorate and it will look better. The counters and sinks will have to wait, too much money, so over time we'll finish updating. Once I've finished decorating and cleaning I'll take a picture of both bathrooms complete. I have a lot of cleaning up to do. The toilet in the master is still not in and the house, well as you can imagine is all torn up. I only have a few days left, AHHH
