I just had to do a post about my little Princess Ruby. It seems like just yesterday she was born. She was born on Winter Solstice the shortest day of the year, it didn't seem that short to me though. She came a week early, I was started because I didn't want her to be born on Christmas, but hey 4 days before is basically the same thing, right? She weighed 7lbs 12 oz and was 20 inches long. She had beautiful dark hair and her daddy's blue eyes.

We had to celebrate her birthday on Saturday, which was actually our 6th year wedding Anniversary. We had a family Christmas party on her actual day, but she didn't know. She just got to celebrate her birthday over a few days. 
She had such a great birthday. Here she is blowing out her candles on her Pink and purple pony cake. That's just what she asked for. 
Grammy made Ruby's cake and she loved it. She stopped opening presents just to stare at the cake. "My pony cake. My pony cake."
Because she opened presents for a few days for her birthday and has been for Christmas parties, I hope she doesn't think she gets presents everyday.
We went to dinner with the family to Ligoris. I think its started to be a tradition because that's where we went last year. The girl was spoiled. She's getting a kitchen for Christmas so she got a lot of accessories for her birthday to go with it. And she got her princess castle, that's all she talks about now. "My princess castle mom." Ah oh I think she thinks she's a princess. She said to Trent the other day, "Daddy I'm a princess." Oh we're in trouble now.

LOL! she kills me, we were sad that we missed the party but we did get to see her on her actually birthday. She is a princess, but the cutest one ever! she's a stinker but so sweet at times. So fun.
Oh she is so pretty, I guess you will have to worry when she gets older... JK I cant believe she is already 2 I remember when you had little Ruby, Crazy how fast it goes.... I guess we will see you all tomorow night.

Wow! That cake is awesome! And, don't worry, you're not the only parents dealing with a kiddo whose birthday is so close to Christmas- Mason's is actually Christmas day!! It's hard to juggle, but so much fun to be able to do it all at the same time! Hope you guys have a Merry Christmas!
2 already? I remember when you had her and I was prego with Bryn. It's been so cool to watch her grow up over the internet. Isn't technology amazing.
I really do love the blog, I feel closer to you and pretty much everyone that I never get to see.
