Well, for those of you who went to OHS, you may remember the best seminary teacher ever, Bro Pack. He was seriously one of the most influential people in my high school days. I read in the paper a week or so ago that a young man dove into Pine View Dam and became paralyzed. Well, I read my friend Kristen's blog the other day and I found out that it was Brother Packs son. I couldn't believe it. You can check out Josh's progress HERE. Its just scary to think that things like this can happen and to someone so young. The other scary thing is that I have an almost 18 yr old brother who is a crazy boy, so I guess it just hits close to home. Keep Brother Pack, Josh, and their family in your prayers. I hope his progress continues to amaze the Drs. And I know that their family will be blessed and see miracles happen through this hard time.

I just heard about that today! That is so sad. I loved Bro. Pack. Thanks for the link so we can get updated.
That is so tragic. Jeff better learn a lesson from this and not do those crazy tricks! He's in our prayers
Hi April, this is Brian's wife Brooke. Thanks for all your comments on our blog, Brian was happy to hear from you! I actually had Brother Pack my senior year at Weber, and we have kept in touch with him thru Brians uncle that teaches seminary. It was kind of crazy because the day it happened was my second night in the hospital, and they were at Mckay as well. So Brian got to go down and see them for a minute. I can't imagine how sad it would be, but you are right they are very blessed he is doing as good as he is!
That is sooo crazy.. I just saw Bro Pack and his son just a while ago. That is so sad, but he has a great family to support him and what a great family the Packs are... Thanks for the post!
Oh that is so sad April. My mom was always so scared for me when I'd jump off of any cliff in my crazy youth too. She said she saw so many paralyzed kids from cliff jumping and motorcycle wrecks in the hospital. :( You just never think it would happen to you.
oh my gosh! April he was a teacher at Weber Seminary! and I loved him! and I was good friends with his son Jake actually.. I had no idea! I'm like crying right now.. I can't believe that... I will be thinking of them at this time. He was such a neat guy!
