My Brother-in-law, Justin, Trent's sister Andrea's husband is serving in Afghanistan for our Country. And I thought it appropriate to do a special post for him since it is a special month for America's Freedom and its his birthday this month.
We are so proud of him and his willingness to serve for our country. Justin went to school to learn Farsi and a few other Persian languages. Justin's job is in translating and interrogations. Scary huh. There is very little he can tell Andrea about what he's doing when he calls home. She said he's doing well though. They make them grow their hair and beards out to try and fit in. He left behind his wife and 5 children to go, but he is able to come home in September for 2 weeks so that he can baptize Emma. Then he will have to go back until February.
Anyways, just wanted to leave a quick post about Justin, we love and miss him. And are proud of our soldiers willing to serve our country.

Wow you should very proud and honored to have him in your family, I cant imagine how hard that would be for his family...
Amazing-- I don't know how he does it. Did you read Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns?? Super good, but so so sad.
Those pictures are so cute of Ruby eating Spaghetti-O's!
Wow! I am so thankful for the men and women serving our country! He looks scary! I hope you didn't give his identity away or anything by posting this... Scary!

I too have been thinking about Justin and the sacrafice he, and others, make for us. I totally didn't even recognize him in this picture. It took me a minute to realize it was him. He looks so different with a beard. We are lucky to have his example in our family.
